What a fun book! Kept me engaged the entire time. Whoever read it did an excellent job as well. There are several different accents in this book and this reader NAILED every one of them. He also perfectly captures the sarcastic tone that all of Weir’s books carry throughout, I’m impressed. 5/5

The book is a classic of course, the narrator is a master of his craft. I hope to have the pleasure of listening to more of the reader’s work in the future.

It’s perfect. Could not be improved upon in any way. The fact that Norm is narrating makes it 10 times better.

This is both humorous and inspiring. After reading Goggins’ book “Can’t hurt me” I moved onto this one. It is funny hearing what a “normal” person’s reaction is to living with the beast of man that is David Goggins. Highly recommended.

I had listened to every podcast I could find featuring David Goggins. I was excited to finally listen to his entire book. I just finished it and it did not disappoint. His recipe to success makes sense to me, it boils down “work as hard as you can, then go 60% more.” We’re all capable of more than we think, but to unlock max performance requires hard work, pain, and suffering. It’s the opposite of a “get rich quick,” scheme. It’s the truth. I’m a better man after having listened to this book. Thank you Goggins.

This book fantastic motivation for anyone struggling to establish a habit of meditation and is a great intro into meditation. This book helps separate the idea of meditation from the religious baggage that typically accompanies it, which is exactly what I hoped it would do.

This book is very encouraging for anyone making a career change. Highly recommended.

The author speaks from his own experiences. He has a humble attitude, as one who has stumbled upon these principles and seen their effectivness in his own life, not as an arrogant know it all talking down to you. He is also an excellent orator, which makes the book easy to listen to and digest. 5 stars.

Shapiro is much smarter tnan I am so I'll need to listen to it multiple times in order to absorb everything. It is a very dense book, packed with information. The author breaks down to their most fundamental peices what we think and why we think it.

Robotic reading style with strong accent. Most advice is "Get someone else to help you get organized." It's obviously written by someone who is payed to organize other's lives.

I will be recommending this to the pschologist who initially diagnosed (I beg the author's forgiveness for using that term) me with ADHD. This is not an academic overview of ADHD, but a much more usefull, practical "How to" guide for how to THRIVE with ADHD. I wish it had existed and that I read it years ago.

Thank you Peter Shankman, you have made my life better.
