Historia
A bicycle crashes into me one night, and the next thing I know, I’m a baby? Getting reincarnated in another world populated by humans, demi-humans, and mythical beasts is certainly not the turn I thought my life was going to take. I especially didn’t expect to be carried off by a wolf and given into the care of a one-armed former knight. Now, I’m trying to repay him by rebuilding the family inn and healing his arm with alchemy.

Maybe it's just me, but...
Revisado: 12-22-24
I feel like even in a group of slaving rapist bandits, one guy going "hey lets rape this baby to death" isn't going to be well received. The author does not agree. The narrator thinks they should be voiced as <10yo boys.
The narrator also makes actual shrieking baby sounds every minute or so for a while.

Truly Exceptional
Revisado: 03-29-23
Just Amazing. I could not even make it an hour into this drivel. I was already questioning my choices in life by the second paragraph. This is solidly the worst written litrpg I have read yet and find it offensive for it to actually be sold.

Historia
Ryan doesn’t remember much about his life before becoming dungeon core. Only that he had a bit of a disagreement with the church - something to do with a beheading? Now reborn, Ryan begins to arm his darkness dungeon with devious traps, bestial zombies, and ill-named skeletal creations, without doing anything too evil. Well, mostly. Some adventurers just deserve a stalactite to the head. But Ryan quickly learns being a darkness dungeon isn’t all loot and bone puns.

Author has some kind of fetish for being degraded
Revisado: 03-04-23
MC is murdered by followers of a goddess. As an apology, the goddess gives him a new life as a dungeon core. Unfortunately for the readers, he is promptly forcibly bonded by the shittiest dungeon fairy who proceeds to verbally and emotionally abuse him throughout the book while he all but worships her for no reason.
The background music can be annoying at times, but I didn't have as visceral a reaction as some other readers did.

Sound Effects
Revisado: 12-25-21
Absolutely packed to the brim with voiced sound effects and it is one of the most insufferable things I have been subjected to in an audio book. It is a pretty short book too, so to have probably an hour of awful sound effects is obscene.

Elegantly Written
Revisado: 09-17-19
It is a simple story, told with a masterful elegance. The characters are all intriguing and painted in vivid hues. Valiant heroes in an impossible situation up against an even more impossible challenge that would have been worthy of an epic length saga. At the end you are just left wishing you could have known them better.
The Narrator... I don't have specific complaints about her work. In fact, she gives it a really impressive effort. But, I do not feel her voice is best suited for this tale. Her voice is a dull blade in a story yearning for a razor's edge.
The cover art is quite beautiful as well and managed to capture the desperate feel of the world.
It's a story that grabs you and holds you. It would be hard to not recommend it.

Historia
One day, six towers appear on Earth. Each one stands hundreds of stories tall, and are invulnerable to all attacks. At the base of each tower is a portal, welcoming in all who dare enter it. All sorts of magical monsters can be found inside the towers. Even treasure, magic, and superhuman strength can be acquired. The problem is that the towers aren't a friendly place. Even worse, the towers sometimes release waves of monsters to attack Earth. In the year 2083, there are only a hundred survivors. In one last attempt, they challenge the final floor without regard for their lives.

Hard to put down
Revisado: 06-25-19
This is the third book I have read from this author now and I have been impressed each time. I think I am becoming a fan.
Like the others, we have an overpowered main character kicking ass and taking names. It is a fun book, very not serious. The protagonist and his friends are surprisingly complex. The world is a bit weak and the towers are a little bland right now. We are still in relatively low tower floors, so I imagine the floors will become more unique as they become harder to murder our way through.
The skills and leveling are well done, well paced, and interesting. I like how the main characters over-poweredness comes from advanced knowledge rather than simply skills that are clearly outclassing everyone elses for no reason.
I am not sure what it is exactly that makes this book so easy to listen to, but I definitely had some difficulty putting it down.

Historia
In the realm of Eon, strength is the rule of law. In daylight, the realm is ruled by the adepts, a group of mighty cultivators that use their spirits to wield world-bending, mystic power. These adepts live in constant strife, fighting for control of relics that hold the divine powers of ancient gods. In twilight, the realm belongs to the darkbeasts, nightmarish creatures born of a mysterious fog known as the veil. These creatures are drawn to power, hoarding relics in their dungeons and slaying any adepts that dare venture too close.

Impressive Narration
Revisado: 06-25-19
I think it is an interesting world. Bits and pieces that seem really cool, although it's not really forming a cohesive whole for me.
I think our protagonist is written weakly. I would expect a cop to be a little more cautious, especially this one when his lack of it literally just got him killed and sent to this world. He seems determined to get himself finished for good. I could even accept him being a moron, because some people just are, except for the fights he is constantly getting into against opponents that outclass him by so much ... yet he manages to come out mostly unscathed. He survives and overcomes without valid reasoning why.
The Narrator is fantastic. He manages to give the characters a lot of personality and depth with his reading of them.
I am interested to see where it goes, but its not the greatest thing so far.

Annoyed my friend by raving how good this book was
Revisado: 06-14-19
I feel like the real highlight is that this Narrator is an absolutely perfect fit for this book. The tone for the story is on point and vivid the entire time. He brings these characters alive and makes every single one of them believable. I honestly just want to repeat the word perfect again and again when I think about describing the narration.
The writing is fast paced and you, along with our protagonist, are tossed right into the deep end from the start. We find a small yet fascinating sub-culture revolving around objects of ancient power, that manages just barely stay out of sight to most mundane people. It is a harsh and dangerous existence for anyone lucky, or unlucky, enough to bond with one of these varied Relics granting special abilities (all of which managed to be pretty cool so far). Our protagonist struggles constantly to find a safe existence for himself and the allies he collects when no one else is fond of rogue actors trying to stake a claim for themselves.
I believe it will keep most people excited and entertained for the whole length.
