Performance is great. Main character isn't a fully functional human being. She avoids using logic or reason to solve her problems. It's a good long listen if you're listening while doing something else and can be patient with a moronic main character.

lazy writing in that the effectively invincible character who can move faster than sight and is covered in living metal armor life is saved by someone preventing an attack from behind.
the homosexuality is shoehorned in. of course the guy the homosexual character likes is secretly gay.

lazy author doesn't bother with consistent rules

performance was great.
characters literally go from helpless against a regular criminal to scaring off powerful immortals and back to helpless without any explanation. the author makes no effort at consistency or character development just throws characters into the next encounter without bothering to apply logic or reason to the surrounding situation. I suffered through the whole book just to see if some underlying logic would be revealed but unfortunately it ended the same lazy fashion.
