Historia
When archaeologist Zoe Miller’s cousin is abducted by a vicious Russian kidnapper, she must come to grips with a haunting secret. Unknown to even her closest friends, Zoe is not entirely human. She is a werewolf and a daughter of the "Fangborn", a hidden race of werewolves, vampires, and oracles. Zoe’s attempt to rescue her cousin leads her on a quest for artifacts - including Pandora’s Box, an object of world-ending power.

Painful
Revisado: 02-15-14
What would have made Seven Kinds of Hell better?
A different narrator.
Would you ever listen to anything by Dana Cameron again?
Probably not. Her idea was a good one, but her execution left much to be desired.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The voice she chose for the main character was annoying and at times painful. It was like watching a car crash. You want to look away, but you can't.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
The idea of the story was great.
Any additional comments?
Just when I thought I would be able to overlook the poor narration the storyline became unbelievable. I Ike stories with strong female characters, but this books main character just seemed needy.

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Would you listen to 14 again? Why?
Yes, the book kept me guessing about what would happen next. Just when I thought I knew it would turn out to be something else.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I can't really say that any one character was my favorite because they each helped the story be believable and enjoyable.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book caused me to experience a range of emotion from frustration to laughter. To me this is what is necessary to bring a good book about.

Entertaining
Revisado: 03-02-09
I found the overall story to be quite entertaining, but the writing was a bit cumbersome and juvenile in some places. This writer has the potential to be a great writer one day, unfortunately for us today is not that day. I am looking forward to seeing his future work and hoping that he comes up with better ways to indicate the characters he is talking about. I got rather tired of hearing the reader say Valentine this and Valentine that.
