A story that never quit, was never dull. Characters were so well developed. One of those boos I could hardly put down. Loved the caustic irreverence

Exciting story to the very end. Characters come to life and the twists and turns of the plot keep you engaged. Settings in Moscow make you feel you are walking those streets. What an ending!!!

It had an intriguing story line with character development. Scott Brick’s performance made the story entertaining but very intense. Every chapter seemed to bring a new twist.

A long read but enjoyable
Revisado: 09-22-22
For those of us who served in Vietnam or as travelers, the story was well done. Narrator was clear and although stuck on himself, he added lots of color and drama. Having been to many of the cities and villages in both North and South Vietnam I followed the roads, trails and sites. Characters were well developed and the story was a good mix of crime and romance. Long yes and I may have nodded off now and again but I enjoyed it.

A body is found at an ATM, the apparent victim a of heart attack. Then two teenage girls are arrested for the brutal murder of a cab driver. The girls confess to the crime, showing no remorse whatsoever. Two open-and-shut cases. At first these two incidents seem to have nothing in common, but as Wallander delves deeper into the mystery of why the girls murdered the cab driver, he begins to unravel a plot much more complicated than he initially suspected.

A typical Olen Steinhsur. Many well developed characters. Loved the geographical settings of the story in so many European cities. The story kept my attention to the very end. A few phrases in German and Russian added to the color of the story.
