I struggled to finish this. I think this was a story about 2 African Americans, but it was totally hard to believe since the narrator was not.

The story is good, but why does the narrator on every Brenda Jackson book make the male characters sound wimpy with a country twang? The male characters are supposed to exude masculinity & sex appeal. The narrator is horrible. Choose a male to read the male parts. The narration takes away from the storyline.

better narration --all of the characters sounded the same in each book. The women sounded horrible.

The narrator needs work on his voices. Every male character in the book sound the same, and the women sound horrible.

The voices are horrible, and really takes away from the book

Not at all, but I would rather read the book than listen to the voices.

He isn't good with women's voices, and all of the women sound horrible.
All of the men have the same sound and country twang. It's not a suave sounding person.

disappointment --- I was hoping it would get better. The stories are fine, but the narration is awful.

I am not sure who chooses the narrators, but all of the Brenda Jackson books needs another narrator that can do more voices.
