Her New York Times bestselling Outlander novels have earned the praise of critics and captured the hearts of millions of fans. The story is additive
Revisado: 05-04-25
Very well written. I could see the story unfolding completely in my mind. My favorite charter besides Claire or Jamie is definitely Jenny. She is incredibly in so many ways.

Good start but slow in the middle
Revisado: 10-22-24
This book started out really good but it turns and get slow and a little boring in the middle. It wasn’t at all what I expected and overall not bad. The narrator was excellent so it helped.

Not a good ending
Revisado: 01-22-23
I was very disappointed in this books ending. I love all the characters so I look forward to all the books. I just wish the authors hadn’t left us hanging quite so abruptly.

Historia
In late 1944, America’s recapture of the Philippines is jeopardized by what seems an insurmountable threat from Japan: immense Yamato-class battleships, which dwarf every other ship at sea. Built in total secrecy, these 76,000-ton warships seem invincible. American military intelligence knows of two such ships, but there are rumors of a third, built not as a battleship but as an aircraft carrier. Now ready to go operational from Japan’s heavily defended and mined Inland Sea, a carrier of that size could disrupt the entire invasion effort.

Revisado: 07-31-22
The storyline is very good but the best part is the narrator. I would give Dick Hill 500 starts if I could.

Historia
Reacher goes where he wants, when he wants. That morning he was heading west, walking under the merciless desert sun — until he comes upon a curious scene. A Jeep has crashed into the only tree for miles around. A woman is slumped over the wheel. Dead? No, nothing is what it seems. The woman is Michaela Fenton, an army veteran turned FBI agent trying to find her twin brother, who might be mixed up with some dangerous people. Most of them would rather die than betray their terrifying leader.

Not what I was expecting
Revisado: 06-27-22
I have listened to several Jack Reacher books and have always enjoyed them. I couldn’t finish this one. I can’t tell you exactly what it is but it’s just not as good. It’s not the same style of writing as booked earlier in the series. I would have returned it but I couldn’t find an option to do that.

Historia
Hal Beekman is exhausted. With all of his energy devoted to his real estate developments, he doesn’t have the bandwidth to figure out why his wife is sad. As for Stacey Beekman, a transplanted Midwesterner with divorce-whisperer friends, the only solution for a husband who doesn’t desire her is to find a second husband who does. But with Stacey left alone in a new house to parent her tech-addicted children and Hank isolated in a Greenwich McMansion that neither of them ever loved, COVID-19 has surprises in store for the Beekmans.

A little too odd for me
Revisado: 12-26-20
This story is weird, the performance by the readers is very good but the story line is just odd. It’s like you’re reading someone’s emails or text messages and it just stops. You don’t have any finality to the store it just simply ends like someone lost the final email.

Historia
It is said that the right man in the right place at the right time can mean the difference between victory and defeat. This is the dramatic story of 68 soldiers in the US Army's Second Ranger Battalion, Company D - "Dog Company" - who made that difference, time and again. America had many heroes in World War II; however, few can say that, but for them, the course of the war would have been very different. The right men, the right place, the right time - Dog Company.

The store is very good and very well written however the reader isn’t. This story deserves a better performance from someone that reads with emotion not from someone so flat.

Good story
Revisado: 08-31-18
The story at its base is very good but I found it a bet wordy at places and a little unbelievable in some points. The reader was not at all good and I found him distracting from time to time. The book is worth it if you enjoy ww2 novels but there’s so many better books to choose.
