I enjoyed the mystery and magical adventure mixed with romance. I loved the characters in the series including the animal characters and the mythical creatures.

Historia
Book lover Addison Thornrose can match you with your next perfect read. Unfortunately, she can't match herself with a good man. Her latest just dumped her. Worse, she's learned that unless she marries, and quickly, her family will lose their witch magic—forever. Feylin, king of the fae, has no interest in romance. In fact, the only thing he's interested in is getting revenge on the Thornrose family for ruining his life. So when he learns that they're holding a Bridgerton-style ball to marry off their oldest daughter, Addison, he sees an opportunity for vengeance.

It was like I was listening to myself!

Although we didn't live the same life and we don't even know each other, I absolutely LOVE Rachel Hollis. NOT IF, but WHEN I write a book, I want to emulate a similar voice of truth and honesty. The vulnerability, and straight up truth talk is WHY women all over the world love her. Her ability to show us where she started and how far she has come, is such a great example to me. I too have 4 kids, a husband and dreams that I want to fulfill. I love how she gives you permission to go after your dreams and I love how she expects and demands you to go out and achieve them. She knows through her own trials and tribulations that the road is long and hard and far from easy. But above all, she knows it's worth it. We come from the same generation, share the love of similar music, humor and moral values. I love how she's adapted diversity and forced herself to grow in uncomfortable situations. I love how she's stood up for herself time and time again and how she made herself known in a world of successful men. Her and her husband are adorable and not without issues, which is refreshing because despite those issues, they are still together and make it work. However, they take it to a whole new level beyond just "making it work" but truly love and accept the other for all that they have to offer. I loved each and every life lesson she shared and I have to say that I am proud of her for letting her guard down and writing about the uncomfortable topics that she exposed. Thank you Rachel for all the hours, editing and blood sweat and tears that went in to Girl, Wash Your Face.... And to my good friend Brittanie, thanks for recommending this book to me. I will cherish this book for the rest of my life, it came to me in a time I needed it most and I will be forever grateful.
