Denying science?
Revisado: 02-27-25
The author includes a line stating that less people denied science in the 80’s. This is clearly a jab at people who are skeptical about Covid vaccines, but it is also verifiably false. There were plenty of cases in the 80’s that showed that the public did not understand criminal science and plenty of killers got off because of it. All in all it was one line but it was political charged for no reason and absolutely false

Historia
While debates about border security continue to rage, and with stories about legal and illegal marijuana in the news daily, Hidden War forces an astonishing dose of reality into the public consciousness. California game warden Lt. John Nores, Jr., now retired, has been at the forefront of an under-reported battle against thousands of Mexican drug cartel members who grow toxic marijuana on US soil, frequently on public lands, and sometimes remarkably close to population centers. Who would guess that this struggle is even going on, or that game wardens are on the front lines?

Very good
Revisado: 02-13-23
I really enjoyed well written true stories and this definitely applies. My only critique is the overuse of the word “disgust” mix it up a little

Good but slow going
Revisado: 02-01-23
The book is very good but the story can be slow going, just hang in there and push through and it’s worth it

Clearly a new writer
Revisado: 12-14-22
The Story line was great, but too much fluff. Remove all the extra details that don’t move the storyline forward. Do more gun research before writing about them, I know you don’t know a ton about guns but if you don’t do the research it sounds weird to those of us that do
