Historia
It's obvious that Cletus Graeme - limping, mild-mannered scholarly - doesn't belong on a battle field, but instead at a desk working on his fourth book on battle strategy and tactics. But Bakhalla has more battlefields than libraries, and Graeme sees his small force of Dorsai - soldiers of fortune - as the perfect opportunity to test his theories. But if his theories or his belief in the Dorsai lead him astray, he's a dead man.

EXCITING AND WELL CONSTRUCTED RATIONAL
Revisado: 07-17-11
I was totally surprised by Dickson. I had never heard of him or his series but the combination of action and deductive reasoning kept me eager to get to the next sequence of events throughout the the book. Always careful of honor, loyality and leadership to win the hearts of those around him.

I' M STARTING TO PULL FOR THE DARKSIDE
Revisado: 05-05-11
From book 5 on the women are depicted as becoming more and more selfish, deceitful and basically intolerable. The men are mechanical, boring and insane. To applaud a hero they must have some redeeming qualities like respect for honor , loyality, sensitivity to the suffering of the the weak. I think with Jordan gone the purpose of character has been lost. I don't care who wins out there are no worthy choices

BEST OF LUDLUM'S BOOKS TO DATE
Revisado: 11-13-05
Ludlum's books always have imaginative storylines with sophisticated, historical references in the dialog but usually the action scenes are amateurish.Minor flaws but the very best of ludlum series

CHILDISH PREMISE

Seymour must have a biased (EU) view OF Americans, the main character American, when told Iranian terrorist are coming to destroy him chooses to stay among his family and friends and not warn them of the danger. THE ENTIRE STORY IS BUILT AROUND A CHILDISH ILLOGICAL PSYCHOLGY. NO CHARACTER WAS WORTH SAVING UNFORTUNATLY SOME DID

I Never New Joe Had Such Global Prominence
Revisado: 04-17-05
How has joe's reach not be more visible to people like myself. It was like Forrest Gump, he touched nations history from the shadows and we never saw his fingerprints. He was near achieving greatness that would exceed Jack's until he was ruined by his desperate fear of war that could take his sons from him. His influence over pres./pm /wallstreet/ newspaper barons ,even parliment is hard to believe

This week in Studio 360, we set sail in search of the White Whale. Herman Melville's Moby Dick survived his battle with Captain Ahab only to surface in the works of contemporary filmmakers, painters, playwrights, and musicians. Kurt Anderson explores the influence of this American icon, with the help of Ray Bradbury, Laurie Anderson, Tony Kushner, and Frank Stella, among others.

Renewed interest in
Revisado: 04-17-05
Much like my efforts at enjoying the Russian classics with to much intricate detail of how the simple minded ladies dressed and thought, the golden nuggets in "MOBY DICK" required to much refining to reap the metaphoric rewards. This series of ideas from devoted critics makes sure I need to be more patient and enjoy the prospecting as well as the gold.
