Decent listen but narrator swallowed noticeably throughout the entire book

I enjoy continuing the extension of the domino Brothers through chemistry’s eyes, but the narrator continue to swallow very loudly throughout the entire book and it was very annoying

Bad narrators to a less than average story

I listened to this story after listening to Lyric, Luca, and Laike and at the recommendation of a friend. I have to say this one did not hit.

I painfully pushed through bc it’s a continuation of the Eisenbergs and connects the books that follow but the narrators, ESPECIALLY Halo, are awful. She does not transition in between characters well at all and that childlike voice was like nails on a chalkboard. I understand trying to convey the pain and trauma but she was terrible and it overshadowed the story entirely too much.

The story including the ending was also basic at best. It was like waiting for a crescendo that never came. I wouldn’t recommend wasting the credit.

Loved it until the end

This is not the type of book I normally listen to but the reviews and the narrator made me want to give it a try. Story had great potential but I felt key parts were left out and I absolutely hated the ending. The narration was 100% flawless! I love Bahni! She is amazing!

I wasn’t impressed with the first book of this series but the reviews said this one was better. I disagree. It was just as unimpressive as the first. The story seemed unnecessarily drawn out, Lennox’s character was extremely frustrating, and I am not a fan of the female narrator. I only purchased bc I like Kennedy Ryan but this one didn’t do it for me

Disappointed

I have been listening to this series since the beginning but the last few books have been disappointing. My biggest gripe is with the narration. It was absolutely awful. I don’t think a single original narrator returned except one.

They are also changing up the storyline and character personalities. I don’t know where they got this London from. Someone said it’s being changed up to align with the series and I hope that’s incorrect bc I think that series is ridiculous. I couldn’t even finish the first episode.

I hope they find their way back to the Duncan’s that made me invest in the series to begin with bc this just isn’t cutting it.

Great spin off to Whiskey Row!

I loved it! Absolutely loved it! Someone said they didn’t like the lack of erotica compared to the whiskey row books but I actually prefer the story to the explicit sex scenes. I usually fast forward through them. This was right on point! Can’t wait for more!
