Just Wow!!!!!!

I have to begin with I started this book right after I finished ready the entire wheel of time series 3 times in a row. That's how much I loved the series by Robert Jordan. That is also what led me here. Sanderson openly admits how much he inspired him and his writings growing up. I am so glad he took those experience's and created a story that read and was as immersive as one of Robert Jordans books. Yet he made it his own enough similarities in style for me to be comfortable and yet and entirely new story to fall in love with. if Robert Jordan could have a protege i believe it would have been Brandon Sanderson.

Having Michael Kramer and Kate Reading as the Narrator's for this was an epic decision. Especially for me just being done with the wheel of time series where they also narrated. I would also like to comment on all the reviews criticizing kate's reading. Her voices and voice changes, sound spot on to me. She changes it not only for age but some women like men have higher or lower pitch voices. I have heard her do a wide range of male and female voices and I think she is amazing so have that lol

for a final but have to say without spoilers. That to me the absolute best part of this entire book was a story point where someones source of absolution was so obvious to me from so early on I thought it was good ng to be a little obvious at the reveal. However the way it happened was absolutely EPIC! and you could not ask for a better take me friends.

great book highly recommended to all Fantasy lovers.

I do not know how but this book felt as if Charles Dickens wrote this himself. I loved every second of it. in fact I have re-listened to it at least a dozen times.

great jokes

Not so great a delivery of said jokes. For a Robin Williams joke book. You really need someone animated and energetic, not monotone. He did read it well, but you don't read jokes you act out jokes.

JUST WOW

Once again i am completely amazed, enthralled and DEVASTATED by the master of novella Mr. Terry Goodkind!!!! How much can my pour friend Richard go through haha But i am positive since there is another tale to be told. That my main man will be helped out in the under world... and i have a sneaking suspicion it will be good old Zed ;0) I look forward to starting Warheart Immediately.

excellent novel

this was a great telling both by terry and sam once again. i wish i had read this before i listened to it though. It seemed to fly by i was able to finish in 2 days :'( ended qll to soon. In any case still and excellent story.

Another smash hit in my opinion

I love all of these novels. out of the entire series and its spin offs the only one i would have liked slightly different would be pillars of creation. That is only because the book brely had richard and khalan in it. Another great novel, thank you Mr. Goodkind.
