Rivating and Enjoyable

The characters become real family members as you read this book. I was afraid the subject would be too graphic but the author balances personal stories with realistic accounts. It really does give you a personal account of what life must be like in North Korea. I recommend it to anyone who wants to expand their world view.

Lots of intermingling plots that include all the main characters in this story. Plus a moral lesson on how to treat people. A must read before Winterfair!

Who doesn't like a story about a good man helping to heal helpless animals in a town full of interesting people?! Wonderful story for adults, teens and children.

I love weddings and it's about time for Miles and Ekaterine to start their new lives together. But just like all the old friends coming to share it with them some old enemies come out of the woodwork to haunt both of them. But the Vorkosigan's have always had 2 things: A#1 Staff and Loyal Dedicated Friends. But will it be enough in time to save Ekaterine? And the future of the Vorkosigan Line?

Heartening Story about Helping People

I enjoyed the story of someone out there who could help you out of a life threatening situation. Who even had someone to watch her back. But with that much set-up and organization then having an ending with a brutal murder, turned me off.

The Lost Prince seems like a natural progression after Little Lord Fauntelory for children, family, or teenage reading. During the first of part of the Lost Prince, you think you have it all figured out but then . . .what's real is not and what's not is real.

I really enjoyed the fact that the author was the narrator with a natural accent for the family doctor. The characters are addictive, lovable, and some downright scary. I loved this book as an Irish-American living in Arkansas. USA

Any Castaway should have this book with him

Having seen the Disney movie, I thought I knew what to expect in this book. There was three times more information which yet again shows: movies do not live up to the book. Mechanical engineers should love this book because of the detail in describing how they build what they need. Hunters should love it because of all the different kinds of animals they find on the island. Personally, being female, I'm just glad somebody found the girl and she wasn't left alone forever.

I Felt Like a Part of Their Lives & Struggles

I really enjoyed "The Time of My Life" already being a Patrick Swayze fan. Listening to how he developed the characters in the movies I love was a lot of fun. I did not realize however, his inner struggles with "voices" he calls them constantly belittling every accomplishment he acheived. How he overcame obstacles is encouraging and a life lesson to anyone who has had to give up one dream for another.
