the beginning of the book was sort of hard to get hooked on. it was pretty depressing and a lot of the characters were very lost. but the ending was amazing and I can't wait for more!

if you love Laura olympus, you are going to love this book! although there are major differences between the two, it is still an amazing retail of the Greek mythology between Persephone and hades. it set in modern time but does refer a lot to fax from Greek mythology. I love the love between Persephone and hades, and how much Hades dots on Persephone especially when she isn't confident in herself and her powers and he believes in her! great performance by the narrator, I wish there was a separate male narrator however for the male voices.

I really struggled with this book. I'm not sure if it was just a filler book in the world of fae
because that's what it seemed like. if you are into reading mature books where 90% of the whole book is just doing the dirty dirty, this is the book for you. there was no problem to resolve, nothing to really look forward to at the end other than it actually ending. very sad it didn't fulfill more of my fae interest.

I understand that that this book and the deserted book are both spin-offs of the original trilogy. however this bug left me wanting more. I hope that the next book is a little bit longer and gives us more story on the next characters.

from start to finish, this book was well written and performed great! Although the storyline was hard to follow at the beginning because you want love to conquer all and there is hope that saying may still ring true in the end! Can't wait to read the next one!

this book will anger you

this book will want to make you throw your phone, tablet, or whatever device you're listening to across the room. There was so much character growth! So much tragedy and it was pretty unbearable to listen to. My stomach was in a constant state of agony and I had to take a couple of breaks. However, this series does not disappoint when it comes to keeping you on your toes. as much as there is sad parts oh, there are a lot of great parts! The twins has really grown into such strong and powerful stay and even have worked through their issues with the heirs. Darius and Tory seem to recognize each other's faults and love each other regardless. the last couple of chapters though, fair warning, are going to be the worst. And make you want to think twice about continuing this series. Push through! I can't wait to see what darius's Dad has coming for him!!
