This one was a bit unexpected but really cool...the story though was a bit harder to follow character-wise. Damn good read though, would have given all stars less my thoughts on the follow thru with characters. Mayberry kicks ass...

The King of Plaques.....rocks

I'm enjoying each book more than the previous, this is a great series that's packed with action and great characters. If you're looking for a cool, action packed story...you'll find it here. I've read too many postings of "critical" nature and quite honestly...almost made me pass on these books - well, I'm glad I ignored those posts and decided for myself. Hopefully, my review will have a positive reaction to anyone pondering getting into the Ledger series...give it a shot, I'm sure you'll be glad you did!

Dog days… A good conclusion to a an excellent story

To hear the close of the Dragon factory and it's sad ending was very satisfying… The only reason I did not give the book 5 stars is because I feel it should've been part of the original story, and not an add-on book which was less than an hour.

Fate of Ten...worth the wait

Well...that was awesome, even better though - the story isn't over! I thought this book was gonna be it but it obviously is not. The story was great...the only thing that threw me was the voice narration for John...it seemed very different this go around? At first, I didn't like it as you become accustomed to what a characters narrator sounds like. Eventually though, you get used to the difference and it isn't an issue. As with all the other books, great story and high anticipation for what comes next. I hope we see one of the "lost files" type books pop up to satiate everyone until book 7 is released...let the countdown timer begin!

Rebel Allies - great filler

This was a great "fill in the gaps" read! Lots of questions answered here...cool different perspective on all the events and how they unfolded. A must for an Lorien fan!

'Effing GREAT...!

If you're a gamer, even remotely so...this is YOUR book! The story is every gamers dream come true...for better or worse, that is. It's more the concept of the story that will lure in gamers in droves! I ultra enjoyed the story and all the references made which I latched onto and associated with - that in itself was a lot of fun. I took a chance on this book as I had never heard anything about it before it's release, haven't even heard anything else from the author...trust me, I'm so glad I took the leap. Damn good story...all I can say is I hope this one makes it to the big screen. It would be epic!

Not what I expected - it was really great!

Surprisingly good - I thought this was just going to be a random facts type filler book but it has great backstory not told from the main story line. It answers many questions I had that the main books didn't directly address...now I see why! Definite must read for the Pitticus fans! Can't wait till September for the next book!
