Historia
Every time we eat, we have the power to radically transform the world we live in. Our choices can help alleviate the most pressing issues we face today: the climate crisis, infectious and chronic diseases, human exploitation and, of course, non-human exploitation. Undeniably, these issues can be uncomfortable to learn about but the benefits of doing so cannot be overstated. It is quite literally a matter of life and death.

Historia
In We Are the Weather, Jonathan Safran Foer explores the central global dilemma of our time in a surprising, deeply personal, and urgent new way. Some people reject the fact, overwhelmingly supported by scientists, that our planet is warming because of human activity. But do those of us who accept the reality of human-caused climate change truly believe it? If we did, surely we would be roused to act on what we know.

I loved this book! Amazing retelling of his life and lessons of from him, his siblings and especially his mother's strength! You really feel like you know his mother by the end of it and I love the point of view and that the narrative is easy to digest/understand even if you are unaware or have no basis to understand the issues he brings up. Highly recommend you give a listen!!
