A MUST READ FOR ANY YOUNG COUPLE
Revisado: 08-03-15
Where does Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Ranks pretty high.
If you could give Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus a new subtitle, what would it be?
A road map into how the minds of men and women are different. Would'nt you like to avoid all those stupid little fights that seem to break out on the way out to dinner Friday night for example.

Historia
Technological advances have benefited our world in immeasurable ways, but there is an ominous flip side: our technology can be turned against us. Hackers can activate baby monitors to spy on families, thieves are analyzing social media posts to plot home invasions, and stalkers are exploiting the GPS on smart phones to track their victims’ every move. We all know today’s criminals can steal identities, drain online bank accounts, and wipe out computer servers, but that’s just the beginning.

I promise you this, if you read this book and apply it's principles, you will have so much more success with women. Imagine, all of the cash you are leaving on the table by not understanding how to get what you want! Imagine, all of those dates, with so many hot girls that you didn't go on simply because you couldn't text right! Seriously, texting incorrectly can crush your chances with women permanently. I can't tell you how many women have vented to me their frustrations at what you are doing.

Hey Guys if you want to go to Douchebag University this is the book that will help you on your way. After picking up the book run on down to the Hummer Store and get yourself one of those big cars and start smoking cigars. This Author and Narrator come off as mega over confident. Google Zapp Brannigan from Futurama if you don't know the TV show and you will get an idea of what this book is about.

Condescending, Stupid, Uninformative, annoying
Revisado: 09-19-14
What would have made The Men on My Couch better?
A Better narrator,
Has The Men on My Couch turned you off from other books in this genre?
NO I am sure there are some good books on the subject out there
What didn’t you like about Abby Craden’s performance?
She tries to pull off this sexy voice that comes off condescending. New York Snob meets porn star.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
disappointment
Any additional comments?
I was really looking forward to this book. Unfortunately the narrator was trying to sound sexy and it came off as annoying. I got through the first case study but it was filled with what I call filler and then the book goes off into her personal life. The book and author also had that upper Manhattan condescending tone like she was talking to all of us little people. I think the book might have some interesting case studies but I could not get through it.

This Book could have been a about 20 pages long
Revisado: 10-01-13
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
If they would have gotten to the point. First lesson stop calling your spouse by pet names. they spent about 45-60 mins on this subject. OK I GET IT MOVE ON!
What do you think your next listen will be?
Not sure
Would you be willing to try another one of Ann M. Richardson’s performances?
No
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
The Info was good but just over written? Like someone had a term paper that was suppose to be 500 pages long so they added filler.
Any additional comments?
I basically would listen to the rule in the beginning of the chapter and then fast forward about about 15 min to the next chapter.

Since Darwin's day, we've been told that sexual monogamy comes naturally to our species. Mainstream science - as well as religious and cultural institutions - has maintained that men and women evolved in families in which a man's possessions and protection were exchanged for a woman's fertility and fidelity. But this narrative is collapsing....

Crap!
Revisado: 09-09-13
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I think anyone on the far left would love it and anyone on the far right would hate it. I was hoping for some real substance but as other reviews state the books is about 20% about human sexuality and 80% bashing any other view other then their own. Big Business is evil, The catholic church and other Christians are evil, Men are evil because they hold most of the wealth in the country, and even fox news makes it into the book.
I don't want to sound like a right wing wack job because I am much more liberal when it comes to social issues. This book is just crappy.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Slow Sex was great by Nicole Daedone, The next book is Sex & God :) hope that is better
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
No.

THIS WILL NOT HELP YOU CHANGE PERSONAL HABITS
Revisado: 04-30-13
What would have made The Power of Habit better?
Showing us how to change our own habit behavior.
Has The Power of Habit turned you off from other books in this genre?
No
What didn’t you like about Mike Chamberlain’s performance?
I purchased this book so that I could see about changing my own habits. This book drones on with example after example of how habits are formed but really says nothing about changing them. This book reads like someone thesis project in college including adding extra text to make the book thicker. Examples that could be written in about a paragraph go on and one for ever. Case studies that are 45 mins long just to make one small example.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment
Any additional comments?
I usually force myself to listen to a book all the way through. I was about 75% done with this book when I just had to stop listening. I found myself in traffic yelling "Get on with it" and "ok I get the concept" I picked a few useful ideas up but it could have been a small informational flyer and not a book.

Why are some people and organizations more innovative, more influential, and more profitable than others? Why do some command greater loyalty from customers and employees alike? Even among the successful, why are so few able to repeat their successes over and over? People like Martin Luther King Jr., Steve Jobs, and the Wright Brothers might have little in common, but they all started with why.
