Revisado: 01-10-25
I have thoroughly enjoyed every one her books, from the Chronicles of St Mary’s , Frogmorton Farm, Time Police, and Elizabeth Cage: British humor, excellent story lines, awesome character development, and picturesque descriptions infuse her stories into my bead. Even her science fiction science is quite interesting, and…could be. And this one is no exception. Past midnight (10 bedtime rigorously pursued)—couldn’t drop. Well done! Again!!!

Courage and fear competed
Revisado: 08-15-24
Beautifully constructed, excellently told tale of courage, desire for better, and spirit of the early America in the 20th century. Shows that our hardships today are peanuts compared to what huge swaths of America and the world have faced to survive. So thankful I am when and where I am.

What a hoot. Thoroughly enjoyable book complete with bad guys and good guys (I called my girls soccer team guys and they took exception, but came to understand it’s a term of endearment and totally non-gender). Very well written as usual, fun characters, smart science (as far as I can tell :)). Have a listen. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellently crafted journey through the life of a beginner supervillain. I love cats, but disagree with (mild spoiler) Hannah’s opinion on dogs—I love them too. And I lover this story.

Dr. Tyson Klein is a quantum physicist who has dedicated his entire life to his research. At CERN, he analyses data generated by the Large Hadron Collider, the world's biggest and most powerful particle accelerator. Now, Ty believes he's found a pattern in its output. Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.
