This is a great beginning to a series, and I can't wait to listen to the next one. Not only is the story line intriguing, but the narrator's voice is very engaging and pleasant to listen to.

I am really loving the Novaks, and can't wait for more! I've read all of the books that are out so far, but this one is my favorite. And the narrator did an amazing job! This will definitely be one I listen to again in the future!

Another great Black Dagger Brotherhood book!

Another amazing Black Dagger Brotherhood book! I love this series, and Murhder's story did not disappoint. It was great seeing all of the brothers again, and I'm so glad things turned out the way they did for John Matthew. And, of course, we had a visit from Lassiter. Love him! This story had me laughing, crying, and on the edge of my seat in spots. Jim Frangione is a wonderful narrator, great to listen to. Can't wait for the next one!

Romantic Suspense/Hot and Steamy!

Would you consider the audio edition of First Surrender to be better than the print version?

I enjoyed both versions, the print and the audio, but normally I prefer print versions over audio just because I read faster and I want to know what is going to happen as soon as possible. With this book, though, I would have to say that I enjoyed the audio more, just because I really liked Ryan Hudson's performance.

What was one of the most memorable moments of First Surrender?

One of the most memorable moments in First Surrender for me was when Sierra got attacked in the parking garage in the beginning of the book. Up to that point, they had just been friends, but that event is what has Hayden admitting his feelings to Sierra and in my opinion sets the tone for the rest of the book.

What about Ryan Hudson’s performance did you like?

I absolutely love Ryan Hudson's voice. It is smooth and sexy and very enjoyable to listen to. I liked the way he paused in certain areas and the fact that he didn't seem to stumble over any of the words. I really enjoyed his voice and performance and hope to listen to more of his work in the future.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Hot and steamy with a side of suspense!

First Surrender is the first book in the Serafina: Sin City Series. It's a great beginning to an awesome series and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Romantic suspense at its finest!

What did you love best about His to Protect?

I absolutely loved Kellen in this book. No matter what, his love for Charlotte never dies. He is completely loyal to her, even after she left him in the beginning. And he supports her unconditionally when she comes back, even after finding out that they have a son together. Everyone wants a man like that. So Kell's character is what I love best about this book. His loyalty, his protectiveness and his unwavering love.

What was one of the most memorable moments of His to Protect?

The memorable moments for me are always the suspenseful scenes towards the end of the book. The ones where the heroine gets kidnapped and the hero runs to the rescue. Katie Reus always seems to throw in a twist on them that you wouldn't think would happen and I love it. I hate reading a book where I always know what's going to happen next-with Katie's books I don't.

Have you listened to any of Pyper Down’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I have listened to a couple of other performances by Pyper Down. Overall, Pyer does a good job altering the characters voices and she has a pleasant voice to listen to, but the best performance I have heard of hers so far is the one she did for Fatal Deception by Katie Reus.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The scene towards the end of the book where Charlotte told Kell that she loved him. He thought she was telling him in the heat of the moment, but she knew she loved him even before she was taken-she just hadn't told him yet. I loved that scene, then of course there was the hot and steamy moment that everyone loves, and then the surprise for her that he had obviously been saving for awhile with a question that never actually got asked by a vulnerable, sexy Kell. Loved that whole sweet and sexy scene.

This is the 5th book in the Red Stone Security Series and I loved it! You don't have to read any of these books in order, but I do recommend reading them all. It's a great series!

Fatal Deception- Action packed!!!

Where does Fatal Deception rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Fatal Deception ranks right up at the top of all the audiobooks I have listened to so far. Pyper Down did a good job when she narrated the first two books in this series-but I think she did an excellent job with this one.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved this whole story. It is my favorite so far in this series. Harrison and Mara are wonderful characters, and I loved learning about Mara's secret past. The love between them is very heartfelt and the story is full of action and suspense. My favorite part is when Mara confronts Neville at the end, but overall I enjoyed how love conquers all.

What does Pyper Down bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I absolutely love the way Pyper changes her voice with all of the different characters. Her voice sucks you in and makes you want to keep on listening. I love to read, but when I listened to this audiobook, the way Pyper changed voices and tones just really kept me captivated and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Secret pasts and deadly intent.

If you like a book that has a lot of action, suspense, and hot romance, I would definitley recommend this one!

If you could sum up Danger Next Door in three words, what would they be?

Suspenseful, Hot, Passionate

What was one of the most memorable moments of Danger Next Door?

One of the most memorable moments for me was when Belle showed Grant her scar. Grant had severe scarring from a drug bust that went bad, and he was afraid no one would want to be with him because of the way he looked. Belle wanted him to see that his scars didn't matter to her. That she has one of her own.

Which scene was your favorite?

I liked several different scenes in this book, but my favorite is when Grant saves Belle from the serial killer. I was praying that he wouldn't actually hurt Belle, but was afraid he was going to before Grant got there. The author put just enough of a twist on it that even though you knew Grant was going to save her, you didn't know what would happen to her before he got there.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

New neighbors, new love, old enemies.

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I love the way Pyper Down changes her voice with each character and Katie Reus has a great writing gift.

Great book and good audio performance!

Would you listen to Darkness Awakened, Volume 1 again? Why?

I would definitely listen to this audiobook again. I love the story and the narrator has a nice voice that makes it enjoyable to listen to.

What did you like best about this story?

I am a big fan of anything paranormal. I love shifters and throw in some vampires and a dragon and it makes for an awesome story. I also love strong alpha characters. Finn is very alpha and will fight for the woman he has always loved no matter what. And Lyra is a very strong character that knows when to take charge but isn't afraid to lean on Finn when she needs him.

What does Jeffrey Kafer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I really enjoyed Jeffrey Kafer's voice. I have listened to a lot of audiobooks in the past and some of them you just lose interest because of the voice. That never happened once with this book. I liked the way he changed his tone of voice through out the story and just enjoyed listening to him in general.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were several moments in the book that moved me. Just the idea of Lyra's daughter having never met her father and her trying to find him, then getting kidnapped is moving in its self. I loved that Finn and Lyra worked together to find Vega, and even when Finn found out who Vega really was, he still stood by Lyra in the end. But I also really liked the way Drake was introduced to the story and his part in everything. I love how protective he is.

I have loved every book I have read by Katie Reus. This looks like it could be the start of a great new series and I will be following it.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this book to friends. I love everything that I have read that Katie Reus has written, and this book is no exception. It has action, passion and a good story line and is a great lead into a series.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Porter was my favorite character. He is a strong, hot, take action kind of guy that would do anything for the woman he loves. Who wouldn't love a guy like that?

What does Pyper Down bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It took me awhile to connect with Pyper Down's voice, but once I did I thought she did great. She has a nice voice and did a good job changing it to accomodate the different characters and in expressing their emotions.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would have loved to listen to this book all in one sitting if I had the time. It was a great read and kept me wanting to listen to more.

I think this is a great book and will definitely listen to more in this series.
