Fair book, annoying voice

The book was fine. Pretty simple but it didn't claim to be anything else but a beginning level book. I didn't like all of the advice it gave. Specifically on selling... It boiled down to don't hold on to losers (good advice), listen to expert recommendations, if 2 out of 3 recommend selling then sell (I think bad advice). If a company is a good company and doesn't have a fundamental problem but is out of favor, that's when you BUY a dividend stock, not sell it. However, that is usually when the experts that are usually focused on stock price rather than dividends are usually giving sell opinions. If a dividend stock is really in favor, a lot of times that's when the yield is the worst for the same company and is the time you sell if you are going to.
There are some good points in this book. I just disagree with certain parts. The biggest negative about the audio book wasn't the book itself. It was the voice. He did fine with the performance part but I couldn't get past the sound of it. Hopefully it only bothered me but I thought it distracted from the content.

Fantastic book made better by Boehner's narration

I found the book to be incredibly interesting as it covered almost my entire life of following politics. Boehner's narration just made it better because he's clearly a natural born storyteller. I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys politics.

A Wonderful Story

JR did a great job telling the story. A love story with the wife and a love/hate story with Vince McMahon. As with his commentary he does a great job of taking you along for the highs and lows and making you feel what he is feeling. I bought the book and the Audible version but I had to listen to it first because he is one of the great storytellers of all time. Thank you for sharing JR.
