Historia
Louise is a single mom, a secretary, stuck in a modern-day rut. On a rare night out, she meets a man in a bar, and sparks fly. Though he leaves after they kiss, she's thrilled she finally connected with someone. When Louise arrives at work on Monday, she meets her new boss, David. The man from the bar. The very married man from the bar...who says the kiss was a terrible mistake but who still can't keep his eyes off Louise. And then Louise bumps into Adele, who’s new to town and in need of a friend. But she also just happens to be married to David.

Breaking the contract with the reader
Revisado: 05-04-17
Any additional comments?
This book starts out well, building suspense between characters Louise, David and Adele. But the way the mystery is solved makes me feel like the author found herself in a dead end street and just had to make up some kind of solution. The relation btw author and reader is based on trust, and here the trust is broken, making me feel like I wasted hours invested in a story that couldn't fly.

Historia
It is a cold, hard fact of business life that most startups fail. Even many of those entrepreneurs who ultimately succeed have stories of personal challenges, unsuccessful companies, and difficulties along the way. The founders of TechStars, a mentorship-driven startup accelerator, have worked with entrepreneurs and companies over the past twenty-five years, and have seen a number of the same issues come up again and again.

I thought I bought a book, not content marketing, which is what this is. Disappointing, although interesting story.

An exceptional book that I will listen to again and also get the print version for later reference. The author has read and squeezed the essence of a remarkable number of books on our behalf.

Historia
Oliver Sacks' The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat tells the stories of individuals afflicted with fantastic perceptual and intellectual aberrations: patients who have lost their memories and with them the greater part of their pasts; who are no longer able to recognize people and common objects; who are stricken with violent tics and grimaces or who shout involuntary obscenities; whose limbs have become alien; who have been dismissed as retarded yet are gifted with uncanny artistic or mathematical talents.
