this was another long book to get through that I can't seem to focus on without doing something else with my hands.
identified with almost all of the criteria for diagnosis and the coping mechanisms offered seem interesting! but also silly. but definitely worth a listen to if you're curious about potentially having the condition and other coping mechanisms

Historia
Attention deficit disorder (ADD) has quickly become a controversial topic in recent years. Whereas other books on the subject describe the condition as inherited, Dr. Gabor Maté believes that our social and emotional environments play a key role in both the cause of and cure for this condition. In Scattered, he describes the painful realities of ADD and its effect on children as well as on career and social paths in adults.

Hard to get through, but worth it
Revisado: 10-11-22
The book is good! The insights and provoked thoughts definitely provide some perspective on my previous reactions to situations. It just took a while to get through due to my dislike of the narrator's voice, no fault of his own! I just don't like it.
