Historia
At times stern, at other times patient, at times perceptive, at other times in sad denial, Olive Kitteridge, a retired schoolteacher, deplores the changes in her little town of Crosby, Maine, and in the world at large, but she doesn’t always recognize the changes in those around her: a lounge musician haunted by a past romance; a former student who has lost the will to live; Olive’s own adult child, who feels tyrannized by her irrational sensitivities; and her husband, Henry, who finds his loyalty to his marriage both a blessing and a curse.

Clever but not for me
Revisado: 02-17-20
I loved how you get to know Olive slowly, sometimes when she is the protagonist, sometimes through someone else's ponit of view, but I got tired of the overall storie by 3/4 of the book, I guess it's just not for me.

Historia
When Elizabeth Keane returns to Ireland after her mother’s death, she’s focused only on saying goodbye to that dark and dismal part of her life. Her childhood home is packed solid with useless junk, her mother’s presence already fading. But within this mess, she discovers a small stash of letters — and ultimately, the truth. Forty years earlier, a young woman stumbles from a remote stone house, the night quiet except for the constant wind that encircles her as she hurries deeper into the darkness away from the cliffs and the sea.

Engaging from the start

One of those you can't seem to stop listening, I just had to know what would happen next. Also, I think Graham had fun recording this.

predictable and a bit dull
Revisado: 09-01-16
The story gets a bit predictable and dull, mostly because the lead characters are flawless, apart for being good looking, they accept everything and forgive everything
