I guess I had high expectations. I get that it is 2 people and each episode is one of their so called cases. Or maybe they’ll all be connected at the end. I won’t be finding out because the cases are laughable. There’s no substance. I made it to the Big Game episode. Another issue is that it’s told in narrator form by each of characters. Then they converse. It distracts from storyline. I think one style should be picked and the other minimized.

It was a decent story. I really liked Van voice number 1. The switching of the voices wasn’t confusing, but the second voice for each main character was awful. Van’s second voice was a whispy country/southern accent. There was no exciting twist or turns. I liked that or didn’t seem drawn out.

The story was ok. The hardest part was paying attention because it was like listening to the dry/red eye guy. Just painful. I made it through, but definitely missed a lot because I kept zoning out after awhile I just decided I wasn’t going back to relisten. There was only one exciting situation and yet still presented in a monotone voice. I would not recommend. Also, it’s very clear she’s white lady in a majority black area it’s repeatedly mentioned but is unnecessary. It serves no real purpose or change if the storyline.
