Historia
The titan is Habib Elghanian—a self-made industrialist and the foremost Jew of his time in Iran, whom the Islamic theocracy targeted as the first civilian executed during the 1979 revolution. With Iran continuing to generate front-page news, his previously untold story is painfully relevant, shedding light on that country's persistent economic, political and social problems.

Impactful and important
Revisado: 06-01-24
Sadly incredibly topical in 2024. Beautifully written, heartbreaking, and terrifying. This is an important book that everyone should read.

Historia
Joel Salatin is perhaps the nation's best known farmer, whose environmentally friendly, sustainable Polyface Farms has been featured in Food, Inc. and Time magazine. Now, in his first audiobook written for a faith audience, Salatin offers a deeply personal argument for earth stewardship and calls for fellow Christians to join him in looking to the Bible for a foodscape in line with spiritual truth.

Not a Christian but very important book
Revisado: 03-03-23
I am absolutely not a Christian by any means but this book is amazing. While I absolutely do not agree with Joel's socially conservative positions on abortion or gay marriage, his voice on animal welfare and land stewardship is invaluable. This book is written for a conservative Christian audience, so if you are not of that faith community, even if you find those beliefs offensive, just set that aside and listen to Joel's revolutionary but accessible ideas on agriculture and the broken American food system.
