Historia
For as long as he can remember, Blake K. Healy has seen angels and demons. He sees them as clearly as he would see you if you were standing right in front of him. He sees angels dancing in worship services and whispering words of encouragement in people's ears. He also sees demons latching on to people and perpetuating addiction and bitterness in their hearts. The Veil chronicles how Blake matured in this gifting, while overcoming the fear and confusion of what he saw.

I Read It 3 Times!
Revisado: 01-30-23
Blake's stories will blow your mind, if you've never seen anything in the supernatural realm! His descriptions of angels and demons create vivid mental images and fill you with a desire to have eyes to see and ears to hear, especially if you're an Intercessor. What a wonderful gift, to be able to see what is tormenting others in order to pray for their deliverance and healing! GOD is so Kind and Loving to Provide these gifts to love and serve all of those He Made in His Image.

Every Person Needs To Read This Book!
Revisado: 01-25-23
Without drama, the authors present an historical account detailing all aspects of how a small group of wealthy Elites have spent the past 240 years working to create a One World Government on the Earth where they rule over all nations in a God-less society because they see themselves as gods and money as the source of power.

Historia
In medieval Germany, Madlen Goldmann left her passion for medicine behind to live a life of quiet contentment with her devoted husband, Johannes, and their children. But when Madlen's aunt delivers the news that Johannes's father, Peter, has gone blind, Madlen must use her healing skills to help just one more time. While caring for her father-in-law, Madlen assists a handsome young doctor, Franz von Beyenburg, in a procedure to restore Peter's sight - something she never dreamed possible.

The First Book Was Much Better
Revisado: 11-07-22
The sweet mother-daughter relationship nurtured in book 1 seemed to disappear in book 2. Instead of Agatha referring to Madeline as her daughter, she suddenly refers to her as her niece. The warmth and love in the character of Agatha in book 1 is almost completely gone in book 2. What's left is a hardened, cold, critical woman who is unrecognizable. And, the sweet love story between Johannes and Madeline from book 1 is also gone. Left is this apathetic, stale marriage of obligation. I found the tone of this book to be so unlike book 1 that I wondered if it was written by a different person. Also, some of the details in book 2 were not the same or true to book 1. I still rated it with 5 stars because it was a worthwhile read, but I found it lacking and I was disappointed. The plot regarding Johannes and his investigation became convoluted and confusing toward the end. Then it suddenly resolved and I was left wondering which character was actually guilty as I couldn't follow the title with the prior characters. The book ended abruptly without any further relationship building as the family reunites. There are hints of an additional deeper relationship with 2 characters, but nothing is developed there either. In my opinion, this book lacked the depth of book 1 and the heart. I will however look for other books by this author in hopes there is another story with the beautiful, intense relationships she created in book 1 as she is clearly capable.

Just Fantastic!
Revisado: 10-29-22
I wish I could write like this absolutely incredible author! She strings together sentences which create the most beautiful tapestries! Her humor will keep you laughing as well as the interesting stories she shares throughout the book. I loved this entire piece from beginning to end. It is quite a masterpiece, in my opinion. This was my second time listening to it and I think I love it even more now than I did the first time around. Enjoy! Whether you read it yourself or let the narrator paint the pictures for you, I promise this will not disappoint.

LOVING THIS SERIES!
Revisado: 10-12-22
I am not one to read romance books, not at all. This series is labeled as Historical Romance. I read historical fiction & non-fiction. But, this ongoing story beginning before the Civil War, does an excellent job offering perspectives on events from multiple characters. It's wonderful how Ms. Dye creates characters with such emotional depth & writes about serious, even controversial topics like how the AMA took over medicine in the 1800's, pushing out doctors who were treating with homeopathic remedies by excluding these doctors from their medical schools & openly mocking them in society. I have truly enjoyed this journey getting to know Carrie, Rose & Aunt Abby the most. I am about half-way through as I begin Book 11. I highly recommend listening to these stories by audiobook because it brings the entire story to life with different voices & intensity! Thank You Ginny Dye for such a beautiful story of 1800's culture both in the North & the South!

Historia
For half a century, a terrible secret lay hidden, locked in a trunk in an attic... photos, official documents, and scraps of a diary written by a young girl. "The time has come when I must share my life story... some facts from the past that could make a contribution, however small it may be, to the history of mankind." The Secret Holocaust Diaries is a haunting eyewitness account of Nonna Lisowskaja Bannister, a remarkable Russian-American woman who saw and survived unspeakable evils as a young girl.

Incredible Strength!
Revisado: 09-08-22
Nona was an extraordinary woman who was brilliant and had an insatiable desire to learn, even through the darkest circumstances. Her life will inspire many to persevere and keep their eyes on a Good God Who is always watching, providing and protecting. Nona's faith throughout her life impacted me the most! And, I absolutely loved the story about her response to eating the cream and preserves! Much appreciation to her husband for his long hours of labor in love to present the life of his precious wife to all the world that we may never forget what people endured during WWII.

Wonderful Historical Story

I am loving this series! The history regarding slavery, both white & black, as well as the tension between the mainstream medical system versus the natural homeopathy route was all very detailed & interesting!
