Historia
More than 3,000 years have passed since the first events recorded in Dune. Only one link survives with those tumultuous times: the grotesque figure of Leto Atreides, son of the prophet Paul Muad'Dib, and now the virtually immortal God Emperor of Dune. He alone understands the future, and he knows with a terrible certainty that the evolution of his race is at an end unless he can breed new qualities into his species.

Truly a great story. It was my second time reading it after more than a decade. Everything I hoped for and more.

I have been a fan of the WSJ for years...
Revisado: 04-27-19
I have been a fan of the WSJ for years, but I gave this a listen, and two of the 5 short stories were about Trump, and the rest wasn't much more interesting.
It just wasn't the WSJ experience I was looking for.

Loved it!
Revisado: 09-15-18
ASoIaF is one of the greatest fantasy series of all time. The considerable length of the story, and the wide, diverse cast of characters must have made narrating a grueling task, but Roy Dotrice did a fantastic job in this seccond instalment in the series.

Great story ok quality, and narration.
Revisado: 05-23-18
Truely one of the best stories ever told. the narration itself is great, but the dialogue is not as well done. Also the last meeting of Edmond and Mercedes is missing.

Historia
Mixing a bit of seventeenth-century French history with a great deal of invention, Alexandre Dumas tells the tale of young D'Artagnan and his musketeer comrades, Porthos, Athos, and Aramis. Together they fight to foil the schemes of the brilliant, dangerous Cardinal Richelieu, who pretends to support the king while plotting to advance his own power. Bursting with swirling swordplay, swooning romance, and unforgettable figures.

Has some very flawed views of humanity.
Revisado: 04-26-18
This book implys strongly that humans have no capacity for empathy. Also the conclusion is rediculous. Humans spend centuries preparing to take back a world then get there, and have no plan, and begin working on solutions that would have obviously neccesary from the beginning.
