thought provoking, engaging
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I rated it 5 stars because I didn't remember the drive to work because the story was so engrossing.
Any additional comments?
This book stands alone (just happens to have launched a series). Card has taking the original story, updated the cultural references and then morphed it into a radio play format. Good job done by a master craftsmen. However, if this audio play is your first exposure to Ender I recommend you read/listen to the original book in a couple of years as there are enough differences to keep it fresh including a very moving (different) conclusion.
