What did you love best about To Whisper Her Name?
I liked the development of the characters and really felt like I knew them and loved them.
What does Tavia Gilbert bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Excellent reader, voice change excellent
Any additional comments?
This was classified as unabridged, however, I found it difficult to understand the story at first because the prologue had not been recorded. The prologue was essential for the foundation of the entire story and so its absence was keenly missed. Fortunately, I also own the book on Kindle, so when the story seemed to be missing something, I checked out my kindle book and that was how I found that the prologue had not been recorded.

Historia
Faith and love could cost them everything. When Rislène Namani meets Eric Hoffmann in 1994 France, the spark between them ignites a firestorm of trouble. She fears the repercussions from her staunchly Muslim family for her attraction to a Christian. Yet Eric captures her heart. More than that, his faith captures her soul - a faith she comes to embrace. And it all stirs up a wasps’ nest of danger, mystery, and love that could cost her everything, even her life. The risk is real, especially when Rislène’s family discovers her secret.

Fabulous historical novel

Would you listen to Two Destinies again? Why?
Absolutely! I loved this entire series. The author skillfully weaves a story based on the war in Algeria and its impact on believers in Christ. I fell in love with her characters and miss them now that I have finished the series. I can't say enough in praise of this author. I can't wait to see what she is writing next.
Have you listened to any of Kirsten Potter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, and I find her to be an exceptional narrator.

Fabulous and thought-provoking story
Revisado: 10-31-12
Would you listen to Night Light again? Why?
Yes, It was an excellent story with credible characters cast in a situation that makes me ponder how I would respond in a similar situation. The narrator was excellent in voice change between characters. There was not a dry spot in the story for me.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Deni was my favorite. Her responses to the various crises she encountered were very similar to what I think my own would have been. I also liked that she was still struggling with her relationship to Craig at the end of this book, which I feel is very realistic.
Any additional comments?
Terri Blackstock is an incredible writer. I love her characters and the storyline is captivating. I can't wait until I start the next book in the series.
