This book is great and fun. Great furry friends, excellent slice of life world, easy comedy and great characters. I love this easy going, wholesome series and I can’t wait for the next installment.

WONDERFUL SERIES - absolutely one of the best I’ve read in years

I love the characters, the world building, the perfect mix of slice of life meets action and adventure. The characters are relatable and both loving and at times infuriating. Honestly speechless at how much I adore this series and the wonderful world pirateaba has created and I am DYING to read the next book. I hope the author never stops writing this series as again, it’s one of the greatest series I have ever had the pleasure of reading & listening too!

Absolutely phenomenal characters & story, infused with humor and a clear love for books & stories

This is such an eloquent, heartfelt, and fun book series. I was genuinely unable to stop myself from listening to this whole series. I am admittedly, a huge fan of the keeper chronicles, the other series by this author and was prepared to like the characters a little less in this one compared to the story I was familiar with. JA ANDREWS is a fantastic author, who writes stories so completely entrancing that you will not want to ever put it down. I can’t wait to continue reading any other books the author creates. All of their creations have been Absolutely phenomenal characters & story, infused with humor and a clear love for books & stories

I just love JD FRANX’s writing style. It has depth of emotion, character growth & stumbles, very relatable (as much as a one can), and very well crafted. The varied peoples & races have complex and unique cultures, which make this rich story even more compelling. Can’t wait for the next…hope it’s longer haha!

wholesome story full of fun with an EXCELLENT narrator!

I loved this book so much and can’t wait to listen to the next installment— it’s not for those of you who don’t like happy endings or are looking to read just one book. This book has everything: adventures, portals, wizards & mages, familiars & wyverns, kind characters, and so much more. Peter Kenny does a WONDERFUL job narrating this book and adds even more life to an already lively book.
It’s a slow burn and this installment of the series is focused more on establishing the world, magic system, character growth, and general groundwork for what I think will be an amazing series with a total of 5 books.

This book really is comparable to eragon & peen books. Just amazing storyline & characters. Really creative world building, wonderful characters, and an epic story. I can’t emphasize enough how amazing the characters are and how wonderful it is to travel with them in their journeys. This book is well written, making me laugh & cry with the cast. The narration of the book is also amazing, the narrator really goes above and beyond! I am dying to read the next book & follow this series & I’m sure anyone who listens will few the same.

I really really really hope that Rin Chupeco continues to explore & expand in this realm! It’s such a thoughtful, concise, and well thought out world that keeps you guessing & enthralled. One of my favorite fantasy books and I read a lot of them haha!!
