So the story of Mai and finding her sister Jin continues. I feel like there’s lots of filler in this story and I just want to get to the part where they recover her sister and see where that leads! I enjoy the series but this was a bit drawn out without a juicy bang as I usually expect.

The dance between Yamanu and Mey is coming to and end. Who knows if she will transition or maybe she’s a divergent of the human species that’s evolving. As their story concludes (sort of) the intrigue of Kalugal possibly being the recluse billionaire really
Piques my interest. I wonder if Meys sister is someone mate from the clans. Perhaps Kalugals? Just a thought! I love how the author gives hints about new characters and new storylines to come. As the story concludes with a good ending there is a new beginning of a new story to look forward too. I must say my favorite is when the author plots these suspenseful, exciting and nail biting missions in different series- and I can definitely see some coming next up!

Yamanu’s celibacy secret ...

May and Yamanu may be each other’s mates but can they really be together? Yamanu has been celibate for centuries and still is despite meeting his possible mate. I can’t wait to find out his “secret” in the next book. Also Mays sister is missing what is her story??

You won’t believe who Logan’s brother is!!

I love these series and this particular one is very good! It’s exciting and thrilling. Carol goes on a mission undercover into the doomer island and what she uncovers is surprising and not what you expect! The story with her and Logan unravels and even the ending of this series precludes to a more interesting one. I love the how the author keeps us in suspense especially with the missions and plans underway- it is so exciting and one of those books that you can’t put down until the end.

Why does Carol have to die?

The suspense has been building up for a while now. The mission for carol to go undercover to the doomer island is drawing nearer. It’s exciting and the romance between Carol and Lokan is hot! I can’t wait to find out if/when she gets to the island and if Annanis sister is trapped on the island. But Carol has to die first before she can go ahead with the mission... lots of suspense and some good awaited things to happen. Can’t wait for the next one!

Guess who is Lokans mate?!

Ooohh so so freaking good! So many possibilities and so many things to happen in the future for the clan. With Lokan captured Carol can go on a mission to the doomer island, for Anani to perhaps find her half sister hidden away in the island. Perhaps if the mission happens Lokan can redeem himself to the clan? I cannot wait until the next book!!

Lokan captures Ella

The last few series about Ella were good but this last one is REALLY good. Like a good meal followed by dessert it hit all the right spots. It had really good action that almost made me bite all my nails, luckily my gel manicure prevented that- haha. The plan to capture Lokan backfires and Ella is captured. Lokan outsmarts everyone including Turner. I won’t spoil all the details but the ending is just on point- so good and satisfying what you have been waiting for since the last few series. As always I.T. Lucas delivers such tantalizing and addicting content, you just cant stop.

Is Logan someone’s Mate?

This series is more about Ella adjusting and the demons in her head and the ongoing conflict within her. I’m glad the clan discovers that Logan is invading her dreams and they are prepared for it. I’m looking forward to more action in the following books because I can’t wait to see how their plan to entrap Logan goes. I also wonder if he could be someone mate?

Ella endangers the clan

I love the COTG series and the last series were pretty intense. However this one is more so about Ella adjusting after her rescue. I find her character a bit annoying. Like she just found about immortals and she has these dreams with Logan (doomer) visiting her which she should have told someone about it instead of keeping it herself and now not even able to talk about him since she’s under impulsion thanks to her own doing. I get that’s she’s only 18, but the stuff she’s been through you would have thought she would be smarter and she’s not. Other then that I love everything else and I am looking forward to what happens next. I just hope she doesn’t endanger the clan!

As with the last few series that had me on the edge of my seat, I am glad that in this book Ella finally got rescued. Of course I would like to know what happens with her and Julian and if she got pregnant while being captured. I hope on the next book we get a glimpse of Dmitris after finding out the Ella is gone. Even though it has a happy rescue ending it’s just the beginning of so much more. I feel like the last three books just flew by from all the intense and gut wrenching action. I am looking forward to the next! these books are deliciously addicting!
