I think enjoyed the performance of this book the most. The narrator was the best so far! Great story as well, keep them coming! It's funny how Michael and Quinn are from Europe but got the American Black Man lingo on lock, yes!

"Damn!" LOL! I love the genre of African American Paranormal Romance! We need more books and series like it! I love the first book!
The narrator sounds like an older white woman and just doesn't match the characters. Just a fact. Please choose a narrator who is black or least sounds black/urban. This is a performance and it should sound realistic. Also, having a black male narrate the male voice would make this Audible series all the better.

Overall I Enjoyed the Whole Series, BUT...

I always loved Brenda K. Davies' work. However, in the last story I need to address something that I found quite offensive. In one of the later chapter she referenced the idea of a Nigerian Prince scammer...I do not appreciate this reference, AT ALL! It perpetuates the idea that Nigeria is full of scammers when the US, where I live as an African-American, has "scammed" for years. Scammers are not specific to a region or people. I think more care should be taken. If the shoe was on the other foot, I don't believe a similar reference would be taken so well. Just something to think about...

I love listening to Romance Novels, especially Paranormal Romance, but I haven't read a romance novel like this one before and it was very interesting sexually...! I love the romance and sexuality of these novels, and appreciate the meaningful story lines to where it doesn't just seem like you are reading porn, lol!

The series was great however, what rubbed me the very wrong way was the mentioning and depiction of Voodoo in the storyline. I'm sure the author doesn't know anything about the African religion accept what Hollywood and the Western world ideology has portrayed. She should be careful and not talk about things she does not understand, it is and can be very offensive to people who practice this form of African Spirituality and for those who know and identify with it. The religion should be respected not misrepresented, furthering ignorance. Thank you.

I loved this African American Paranormal Romance Novel! I love reading Paranormal Romance Books and I was especially happy and proud to be ready one with characters like me that I could relate to. Even the Narrator was black and I like that! She is probably the best Narrator I have heard so far and I have listened to a lot of books. She had great voice personalities for each character which made it easy to distinguish the characters talking from the narration. Keep up the good work Stina and iiKane! Keep the African American Paranormal Romance coming. I'm on my way to read Book 2!!!!

The Narrator was ok, but she needs to practice more with different voices. Most of the voices sounded the same. Its good that the book was written well, otherwise it would be difficult to distinguish narration from characters. I'm disappointed that she is narrating the rest of the series. However, I love the series anyway!
