World build is wonderful

Bit of a slow start just like starting any really good game. By the time I made it through a few chapters I was hooked. The build up for the main plot lines was executed really well. The man character is fun and I want to see where he goes and what he does next. Cannot wait to start book 2.

I didn’t really get into this book until well into the story. I’m glad I stuck with it as it only got better and better. Looking forward to seeing where this series goes and how it ends. Highly recommend.

Really Good Continuation of the Series

Another good chapter in the Andrea Vernon series. I cannot wait to see how the next book pans out. These characters are funny, sincere, awkward and just plain lovable. Bahni Turpin is, as always, excellent! As a southerner I delight in her southern accents. Seriously, do yourself a favor and read/listen to this series. It is worth the time and will have you spouting Ohisms when you least expect it.

After such a long wait for this book I find myself disappointed that he didn’t get further in the story. It makes me feel like he just wants to make as many books out of this series as he can so he can make more money. His writing always disappoints but I find myself stuck with this series to the end out of curiosity to see how he ends it.
