Would you listen to Arcadia's Gift again? Why?

I would as a preparation for listening to the next in the series. The narration is strong enough to enhance an already excellent story.

What other book might you compare Arcadia's Gift to and why?

Ashfall by Mike Mullins. Though not a paranormal and the boy is the protagonist, it gives an insight into what a teen is capable of when put in an unreal situation. How they deal with the unexpected.

Which character – as performed by Ashlyn Selich – was your favorite?

Arcadia. She was the most developed of them and was always changing subtly

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

As if normal teen emotions weren't bad enough...

Any additional comments?

The voice acting and how she evoked the feeling of different characters. Also I was already hearing Callie in her voice anyhow.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It definitely made me laugh in spots where I should have been laughing. Maybe in a couple I probably shouldn't have been as well.

Any additional comments?

The third book in the Calliope Reaper-Jones novels gives me everything I could possibly be looking for in an urban fantasy novel. There's hot sex intermingled with emotional bindings, confusing relationship and potentially painful outcomes. A main character who, while immortal still has to evolve from being a chicken about getting her butt whooped to becoming as bad-ass as she can be and saving everyone. There are supporting characters that you grow attached to and finally there is action. My personal favorite aspect of this series is how hard Cal tries to be the
