Historia
People who say “love is trust” probably didn’t grow up in a cult. My name is Daisy Nabhitha Kittredge. I chose it myself. As an RN in the emergency department in one of New Zealand’s largest hospitals, there wasn’t much left in me of the 16-year-old girl, covered from neck to ankle and not allowed to make eye contact with a boy, who’d run away with five dollars in her pocket and terror in her heart.

Another wonderful Listen (and read)
Revisado: 08-24-20
I am biased when it comes to Rosalind James' books; I LOVE them all! I love her NZ books because I feel like I'm there. I love the characters in this book and hope to read about some more of them. Daisy is on her way to rescue her sisters from a cult (want to read more about them) and runs into Gray. I typically don't listen to audio books because I sometimes find the narrator distracting. I love that there are two! I like that you hear both perspectives and it's easy to keep track of it; There performances are wonderful and I really enjoyed listening to this book. By listening, I felt I picked up on things that I may have missed reading and I loved hearing the accents. I received a copy of this audio book in exchange for my honest review. I honestly say I haven't found a book or audio book by Rosalind that I haven't loved. The saddest part is when it end!

Sinful!
Revisado: 01-06-18
What made the experience of listening to Guilty as Sin the most enjoyable?
I really liked this story about two twins trading places. I read the book first and really enjoyed it. Emma Wilder did a great job bringing this story to life and kept me interested in listening.
What did you like best about this story?
At first I had a hard time keeping up with the characters and the "story" within a story with Jace. Once I got through the first few chapters, I couldn't put it down. I loved the way the characters developed and couldn't wait to see what would happen next.
What about Emma Wilder’s performance did you like?
I liked the way she was able to keep each character unique in their own way. She really brought this to life for me and wanting to hear more. By listening, I found myself hearing things that I didn't pick up when reading.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Initially no, but once I got through a few chapters, I had a hard time putting it down!
Any additional comments?
This is a great audio book that I definitely recommend.

Another must read (or listen!)
Revisado: 08-28-17
If you could sum up No Kind of Hero in three words, what would they be?
sexy, fun, do-over
What did you like best about this story?
I love watching these characters evolve and learn things about themselves as well as new things about each other.
Which scene was your favorite?
Beth is going through a tough time of her own as a lawyer about to have a break down. She returns home and realizes she still has feelings for Evan; but she only has 18 days off of work. I loved when she was putting together of places to go for her breakdown, and she wound up going home.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Look at me now
Any additional comments?
As I always do, I loved this book! This is the second book in this series, but you can read it as a stand-alone. We were introduced to Evan, a single dad in the first book, but didn’t know much about him. He’s raising in daughter Gracie alone and runs into Beth, who he knew before. He’s leery of her, given her past with him, he should be. Beth is going through a tough time of her own as a lawyer about to have a break down. She returns home and realizes she still has feelings for Evan; but she only has 18 days off of work. I don’t want to give the story away, but it’s beautiful and fun. I love watching these characters evolve and learn things about themselves. I definitely recommend this book and as always, all of Rosalind’s books. I haven’t found a book that she’s written that I haven’t loved.

Definite Yes to read!
Revisado: 04-14-17
What made the experience of listening to Just Say Yes the most enjoyable?
I really loved this story! I purchased the Kindle copy of this book and absolutely loved it. Kevin is a character that we have read about through out this series and have always wanted to read about him. I was given this audio copy to listen to for an honest review. I enjoyed listening to this book because I picked up on more than I did than just by reading it.
What did you like best about this story?
I've always loved Kevin as a character and have hoped to read about him. Chloe is also another character that we've met in another story and I really liked her. I never thought they would get together when reading about them in other stories, but circumstances finally made it a reality. I love the way their relationship evolved and I loved learning about the many different sides of Kevin. I'd love to meet him in real life.
Which character – as performed by Emma Wilder – was your favorite?
I really enjoyed Emma's performance. Many authors have a hard time convincing me of their various characters that they are trying to perform (especially men). I thought she did a great job getting each of the characters voices so I could picture them as individual people. My favorite was of Chloe.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book made me happy! I like that their relationship is real and not a fairy tale.

Oh my god I loved it!
Revisado: 03-22-17
If you could sum up Take Me Back in three words, what would they be?
hot, secret, romance
What was one of the most memorable moments of Take Me Back?
Where to start, it was awesome. Hallie and Jim are reunited when her dad dies and Hallie returns to hear the will being read. She is shocked to hear what the will says and see's Jim again for the first time in 14 years. They have a history and a lot of misconceptions to work through. I loved the mystery and romance of this story. Don't want too give anything away, but the ending was better than I could have imagined. A must read!
What does Brittany Pressley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I tend to read books quickly and Brittany Pressley does a great job of slowing me down and letting me really experience this book. I got more out of it by listening to it than by reading it.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
take me back; don't tell
Any additional comments?
An amazing book and I highly recommend this book. It has a great mystery that kept me guessing throughout the entire book. The romantic story is also a fun story.

Historia
When I'd taken Hope Sinclair and her sister to New Zealand to meet my grandfather, I'd known I'd be making the return journey as her husband. I hadn't reckoned, though, on the demons of my past coming back to threaten our future. And, as always, I hadn't reckoned on Hope. I had hundreds of millions of dollars and thousands of employees to tell me I had better judgment and more self-discipline than most people, and neither my self-control nor anything else I possessed had been won the easy way.

Revisado: 02-02-17
Would you listen to Fractured again? Why?
I really enjoyed listening to this book. I would definitely listen to this book again, especially right before the third one. I love the characters and would enjoy hearing them again.
What did you like best about this story?
I love watching Hope, Hemi and Karen all change and grow as characters. Everyone like a fairytale (except Hope!) and watching her date a billionaire is like a fairytale.
What about Emma Wilder’s performance did you like?
I haven't listened to Emma Wilder before but enjoyed the way she portrayed each character. I like how she makes each character distinctive and believable. I can definitely see the characters in my head when I am listening.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
While I would love to listen to this all in one setting, I wasn't able to. If I truly had a day, I would. However, since it's a cliff hanger and we find out what happens in the next book, I would want to take my time with it to make it last longer!

Silver-Tongued Yum!
Revisado: 01-20-17
What made the experience of listening to Silver-Tongued Devil the most enjoyable?
I loved this story and really enjoyed listening to it. Blake is a former NFL player who has decided that he want to settle down and find the “perfect wife”. Then he meets Dakota and is immediately drawn to her. Dakota, has had a hard time at love and life. She’s tough and lively and not interested in being a toy. I loved how Blake shows Dakota to value herself in spite of what others have shown her in the past. I love her step-father Russell and the bond that he and Dakota share with each.
Who was your favorite character and why?
My favorite character is Blake. I liked hearing his perspective in this book. I love that he thinks he knows what he wants, but can't help being drawn to Dakota. Then he realizes she is every thing he needs.
Have you listened to any of Tanya Eby’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is the first time I have listened to Tanya Eby. I wasn't sure if I would like her (hard for me to find a voice that I really like and can relate to) but I loved her!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would have loved to listened to this all in one sitting! Unfortunately for me I have 4 kids and teach and there isn't enough hours in my day.
Any additional comments?
I’ve read all of Rosalind James’ novels and I loved this one as well. Every time I read a Rosalind James book, I love it!!!! I definitely recommend reading this book. I love the characters, romance and a little mystery.

Revisado: 12-21-16
What made the experience of listening to Just Stop Me the most enjoyable?
I wasn't sure if I would like the new narrator, but she was great!
What did you like best about this story?
All I can say about this book is WOW! I have read all of the Escape to New Zealand series books and this one was also amazing. What is great about this book is that it’s a story with many stories in it. Without giving too much away, it’s about Nina and Ian learning to love/trust again. This book was about finding yourself, opening up to love, learning to make decisions and trust them. It is also about communication and learning how to express your love while allowing someone to be themselves.
I loved the story of her and her husband and how they worked through their problems (got lots of great advice for free!). Her 85 year old father Arthur is an amazing character working through his own grief of losing his wife. Carmella’s son Ian is a rugby player who was burned at the altar. Nina comes into their lives and changes everyone around her, including herself. You need to read this book to see what happens, it’s amazing! I ignored my family and stayed up all night to finish this book! I’m sad that I’m done with it.
Which scene was your favorite?
Nina has spent her whole life trying to please everyone. She’s supposed to marry a prince (couldn’t stand him) and she decides she needs to some time. She runs away and meets an amazing woman named Carmella on a plane. I love Carmella’s character! She’s a lively independent woman and you learn that she, like the rest of us has insecurities.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would have if I had had the time!
Any additional comments?
I definitely recommend listening to this book, you will not be disappointed!

Revisado: 06-26-16
If you could sum up Turn Me Loose in three words, what would they be?
Eyes Wide Open!
What did you like best about this story?
The relationship between Rochelle and Trent. I love how their relationship develops! I can always relate some part of Rosalind's book to my own life.
Which scene was your favorite?
Without giving anything away, when Rochelle went back to her ex's house and the suspense that lead up to and during the scene.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Oh yes! I absolutely love Claire's voice and how she read the book. I listened to the other Paradise book and wished Claire had done it. So glad that she did.
Any additional comments?
"Jump with your eyes wide open!" This book was amazing. Back in Paradise Idaho with Rochelle and Trent. I love both of these characters and how they develop throughout the story. Rochelle is such a strong person and a "fixer". It's nice to see that she has found someone that will help take care of her for a change. The romance was wonderful and the mystery was suspenseful. I found myself looking back in the book to look for clues to who was doing what. I definitely recommend this book and all of the Paradise books!

I never asked Hemi Te Mana to rescue me. It was true that I had a lousy job. Not to mention a lousy apartment and too much responsibility, although it was a responsibility I wouldn't have given up for the world. That still didn't mean I needed rescuing, if that was what you'd call the situation I ended up in. And anyway, I knew that a multimillionaire Maori CEO with too many muscles, a tribal tattoo, and a take-no-prisoners attitude was way, way out of my league.

Very Hot!
Revisado: 06-21-16
What did you love best about Fierce?
I loved this book! I couldn’t put it down, and hated to finish it. I absolutely love listening to Claire Bocking read! It's amazing how she can do so many characters and make me believe I'm listening to many different people!
This is the story that was the “story with in a story” from Rosalind’s book called Just in Time. In Just in Time, the character Kate writes a book; this is that story. I love a good romance and this was up to my expectations. This book is a bit different from Rosalind’s books as it’s a bit more graphic (nothing too out there). It was tastefully written and went with the story. I loved the characters Hemi and Hope. Both characters never had a good example of what love is supposed to be before they came together. They also went into their relationship with “no strings attached” but became friends along the way.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Fierce?
I loved when Hope finally gave Hemi another chance and went on a date but brought her sister along. I could just smell the roses at the botanical garden they were at.
Which scene was your favorite?
I love the way their relationship developed. In all of her books, I always can relate to some part and laugh out loud. I really loved that for once, a character had their “period”. You never read in a book where there’s that one time of the month that they can’t; come on!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book made me laugh and cry! It also had me listening to certain parts over again because they were just that good.
Any additional comments?
Definitely recommend this book!!!!
