Historia
Newly retired from the FBI and alone after the tragic death of his wife, Cliff Knowles takes up geocaching. While looking for a cache in the mountains, he comes across a human skeleton and reports it to the sheriff's office. Then a second body is found - a fresh corpse this time - right after Cliff found another geocache nearby. When it turns out the first remains are those of a fugitive he was supposed to arrest years earlier, he becomes a suspect in a multiple homicide investigation.

I love all the geocaching!
Revisado: 12-06-24
This is the first book I've read that has geocaching as a main theme throughout. I love geocaching but haven't been able to go in a while. This book has gotten me excited about it again. I just hope I don't find human remains, lol.

Story great. Narration...not so much.
Revisado: 08-04-24
The story was great even with some obvious tropes. I don't know who's decision it was to make Rose such a whiney girl, but the constant sound of her whining drove me nuts. I'm hoping it was the narrator and not the author. This narrator is definitely not my favorite, regardless.

Historia
As a lover of books, Adam Giordano was accustomed to getting lost in the beauty of the written word. But never quite so literally. Cracking open the pages of one unique hardcover transports him to Colonial America on the verge of war. There, he meets a wild, Native American beauty by the name of Rose, whose life he fears is directly in the path of the brewing storm of battle. Enraptured by her, he struggles to find a way to save her from a history that may already be written.

What happened to Piper Goodeve?
Revisado: 04-11-22
Couldn't get past Chapter 6. Voices were horrible. Either oddly stilted or just so wrong.
I loved the first 2 audiobooks and had high hopes for this one. I'll have to read a print copy once I get the memory of the voices out of my head.

Historia
Television producer Laurie Moran and her fiancée, Alex Buckley, the former host of her investigative television show, are just days away from their mid-summer wedding, when things take a dark turn. Alex’s seven-year-old nephew, Johnny, vanishes from the beach, triggering a search party. Witnesses recall Johnny playing in the water and collecting shells behind the beach shack, but no one remembers seeing him in the afternoon. As the sun sets, Johnny’s skim board washes up to shore, and everyone realizes that he could be anywhere, even under the water.

Mary Higgins Clark did not disappoint in her final book. I am going to miss this series and this wonderful author. She has been a favorite since JR High. RIP MHC

Horrible narration
Revisado: 06-24-20
I liked the story, but the editing and narration was bad. Ends of chapters were cut off. It seemed there were several takes and they were all different then mashed together. The Male teens sounded like grizzled old men.
