Historia
Hugh Howey is known for crafting riveting and immersive tales of boundless imagination. Now comes Machine Learning, an impressive collection of Howey's science fiction and fantasy short fiction, including three stories set in the world of Wool, two never-before-published tales written exclusively for this volume, and 15 additional stories collected here for the first time. These stories explore everything from artificial intelligence to parallel universes to video games, and each story is accompanied by an author's note.

If you like Silo, DON'T READ "In the Woods"
Revisado: 08-05-23
I enjoyed the Silo series. If you don't want to ruin the series, avoid reading "In the Woods" in the Silo section of this compilation.
The short story "In the Woods" is complete and udder garbage. It has left a bad smell to the whole series. It is stupid and unbelievable. I think "In the Woods" was written to shock at the cost of believability. This garbage is not worth the money. I plan to try and return the poorly written waste of time.
[SPOILER][SPOILER][SPOILER][SPOILER]
The so-called author kills Jewels off in the dumbest and most plot hole riddled collection of words thrown together. This could have been done in a way that was not supremely stupid.
[SPOILER][SPOILER][SPOILER] [SPOILER]
This one story has motivated me to never read any of the author's other works. I rarely review things, but I hope this prevents others from ruining an otherwise acceptable series.

Historia
Most books on coaching and business focus on surface-level actions like list building, client generation, and marketing. This book, however, recognizes that unless you address the deepest, most unconscious “shadow” layers of your operating system, you will self-sabotage your growth at every level. Your shadow is composed of your fears, old trauma, and insecurities. It’s the reason why most business owners struggle to stand out, attract ideal clients, and create consistent revenue.

Historia
In this Hugo-nominated novel, an alien walks into a museum and asks if he can see a paleontologist. But the arachnid ET hasn't come aboard a rowboat with the Pope and Stephen Hawking (although His Holiness does request an audience later). Landing at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, the spacefarer, Hollus, asks to compare notes on mass extinctions with resident dino-scientist Thomas Jericho.

Do not be fooled. This is not science fiction.
Revisado: 07-07-16
Has Calculating God turned you off from other books in this genre?
No, because I do not see this as science fiction. The genre is safe from the taint of this "book". It would be more accurate to label it religious pseudoscience fiction.
Any additional comments?
This is a crude attempt to push pseudoscience and "Intelligent Design". Stop trying to pretend this is science fiction. This needs the category "Religious", "Religion", "pseudoscience" or "Intelligent Design". That may have helped me not purchase this book.
