Historia
With war threatening large on the Korean Peninsula, two massive convoys have departed Chinese ports. Dubbed the Northern and Southern invasion fleets, this collection of warships, landing vessels, and merchant ships are aimed straight at the island nation of Taiwan. First though, they must cross the Taiwanese Strait. Past the twelve-mile limit of China’s territorial boundaries, American submarines and bombers are waiting to pounce.

Far Too Many Words and Not Enough Story
Revisado: 06-06-24
I’m not really concerned about how the dust motes glistened in the moonlight in the cockpit. I’d rather hear more about the actual invasion and what is happening in Korea. Books 1-6 were awesome, and even though this book was a letdown, I hope the excellence returns in book 8.

With the Carthaginians pushed inside the walls of Londinium, the Britannians can finally stop reacting and take the fight to them. Starting to Get Tedious
Revisado: 10-17-23
I enjoyed the story in the first book, and I thought the second book was a good continuation. However, by the end of the third book I'm beginning to tire of the repetitive battles, and I feel the story is in a rut. I'm not sure I'll bother with book 4 as it has pretty much lost my interest.

Historia
The West's own governments are giving up, have already lost, or are leading the charge to something else. This doesn't sit well with those who believe in liberty. This is the story of a people who have lost the political fight, they've lost the culture wars, they haven't seen a level playing field in a generation, and they are about to be made serfs. None of that matters. They're leaving....

I Want to be Entertained and NOT Indoctrinated
Revisado: 07-30-21
I read, or in this case listen to, books primarily for entertainment and while I enjoy the premise of the story I am having difficulty getting over the author's constant anti-socialist drumbeat. I get it. I'm right of center and not a socialist but make the point and move on. I keep listening hoping the author does that that (i.e., move on) but if he doesn't there is no way I will listen to the rest of the series.

Okay Story Bad Narration
Revisado: 12-01-20
My overall rating of Okay is helped by being able to read the book as well using Whispersync which is a blessing so I don't have to listen to the narration. Is that computer generated? I let the rating popups be my guide with two stays being "It's okay". I might have given the story a three star rating except I don't consider it "Pretty good".

I Gave Up
Revisado: 07-03-19
I gave up after the first book. The story was just okay and I found myself using the skip forward button towards the end which isn't a good sign. The narration was just so-so as well.
