Snorted a couple of times when something funny was said or done (and I rarely do that, not lady like). Love all Stephanie Plum books, but this is now my favorite.

WOW - best book in ages!

Best book I've listened to months and months. I have hundreds of books in my library and would put this in the top three. Extremely well written, beautiful, thoughtful and poetic. Best narrator I've heard, I have two favorite standbys, Roslyn Land or and Angela Dade, but this new to me narrator was awesome and perfect for these characters. I will definitely look for more books by this author and narrator. Just WOW!

OMG, this book was so hard to get thru.

I stuck with it because I was curious how it ended, and even that was predictable. I think this hours long bloom could have been said in 15 minutes. The characters were a bunch of idiots. Definitely would not recommend a credit used one this and would not even recommend it if it went on sale for a buck.

One of the best stories ever

I laughed and cried and my husband even stopped what he was doing to listen. Worth more than a credit, there should be an award.

Possibly the first published book for this author

If this is the first book published for this author I apologize for my harshness. Not worth a credit or purchase, both main characters were all over the place emotionally and there was nothing that all the other historical romances don't use as their main storyline, but this one added nothing interesting or humorous or anything. The whole time I was waiting for something interesting and it never happened.

Loved it!

Wasn't sure I'd like this book in the beginning but there was enough meat to it I kept listening. It wasn't long before I was totally engrossed and by the end I didn't want it to stop. Very good writing, good narration, interesting story line that isn't cookie cutter highland romance. I will definately be looking for the next book in this story.

Terrible narrator

The story line was a bit incipid, not as good as the first book. But the narrator was wooden and mispronounced so many words it was incredible. She read it in a monotone and like she was reading it for the first time, putting stops and starts and pauses in the wrong places. I liked the first book so well, but am nottsure I will continue the series if more come out. And I will definitely avoid this narrator.

Much better

This book was much better than Sapphires book, story line and narration. Light and funny and happy ending, very satisfying. Only problem is Amethyst's story is still not available on Audible and I would like to finish the series.

Narrator weird

The narrator uses weird ways to differentiate characters. Some sound like Boris Karlof and some sound falling down drunk slurry. Personally, he irritates me. The story line is predictable but passes the time and is entertaining enough I want to listen to the series, but Audible doesn't have Amethyst's story. Hopefully they'll have it soon, or it will ruin the series for me.

One of my favorite books EVER

Heartwarming, inspirational, happy, sad, great story and storytelling. Couldn't get better in my opinion. Definate re-listen when I need something to give me hope.
