Wanted to return but couldn’t because of payment method. Series is lighthearted airport type fare, but this was airport trashcan. Aaagh- free books were ok.. this is not worth time even if stuck in traffic or airport.

Really? I’m so glad I didn’t pay for this juvenile attempt at character development. Tried falling asleep with this on but kept getting mad.

The entries in this compulsively listenable book bridge past and present with topics like getting ghosted, handling haters, and why dog owners rule (sorry, cat people). Along the way you'll get a glimpse of Edith Wharton's sex life, dating rituals in Ancient Greece, catfishing in 500 BC, medieval flirting techniques, and squad goals from Catherine the Great.

Historia
In a crafty new novel featuring the world's greatest literary detective, Alan Vanneman extends the boundaries of the Sherlock Holmes canon with this novel. A late-night summons takes Holmes and Dr. Watson from the cozy Victorian comforts of Baker Street to the Orient Express, where they travel the breadth of Europe to exotic Constantinople. But danger's afoot, for death, too, is traveling first class.

Just pure fun..
Revisado: 02-01-21
The addition of the adopted daughter “Jenny “ was a fun twist as was Dr. Watson’s crush and sexuality. This is not a SH purists book, but then again think about some of the drivel AC Doyle put out to satisfy readers’ hunger for the stories!

Historia
At the end of the Second World War, Cyril Conroy combines luck and a single canny investment to begin an enormous real estate empire, propelling his family from poverty to enormous wealth. His first order of business is to buy the Dutch House, a lavish estate in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia. Meant as a surprise for his wife, the house sets in motion the undoing of everyone he loves. The story is told by Cyril’s son Danny, as he and his older sister, the brilliantly acerbic and self-assured Maeve, are exiled from the house where they grew up by their stepmother.

Real waste of time
Revisado: 10-11-16
Would you try another book from B. A. Paris and/or Georgia Maguire?
Narrator was given material that was overhyped and success was based on the success of other popular books,
What do you think your next listen will be?
Some other category other than psychological thriller until Audible and Amazon sort out heir definitions.
What aspect of Georgia Maguire’s performance would you have changed?
Give her better material - this was for the fifty shades crowd.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Felt robbed of an audible credit and like I learned a lesson on that one.
Any additional comments?
Really dismayed by the other reviewers here. Need to find some reviewers that have similar taste.

Interesting art world romance
Revisado: 09-25-15
Would you consider the audio edition of The Art Forger to be better than the print version?
The narrator was very good and held characters persona well,
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I felt the protagonist was naive and only somewhat plausible,
Any additional comments?
Reviews comparing voice to print is missing the basis for reviews.... Is it a good story? Is it read well consistently with story and characters? Did it hold my attention? Your questions do not lead to accurate reviews.
