Omg! This series has been amazing, but Unexpected Bond kicked it over the edge! Without giving anything away, get your tissues ready! The emotional turmoil leaves you smiling gleefully and then turning into a pile of mush. This story was written really well and has been the best of the series! While all the stories are connected, i feel like one could read this story as a stand-alone. (P.s. I’m writing this review 3/4 of the way through)

Slow and sweet

Mature and sensitive subject for some that could act as a trigger. Ben and Katherine are sweet and the ending leaves you wanting more of their story. I can’t wait for the next book.

Lifetime movie?

I enjoyed the book as i do any Lexy Timms books. Unfortunately, this plot was very similar—if not the same—as a Lifetime Christmas movie and/or book that I’ve already read. With that being said, i wasn’t able to enjoy the book fully as i knew what was going to happen fairly quick.
