I love that Emily narrates her own journey. It felt like she was lovingly sitting across the table from me at a cafe. She bravely covers topics that many would only talk about with a therapist, if at all - mother wounds, psychological impacts of having childhood leukemia, alcohol abuse, losing a parent, losing a job… and so much more. It was so refreshing to hear about the start of her spiritual awakening process and helped me feel less alone on my journey.
