All the feels

Oh, this book. What can I even say that will do justice?!! This author is a master at using descriptive text in a way that makes you feel as though you are there with the characters through everything. These characters fight for every bit of experience gained and I love getting to be a part of it. There is humor, drama, suspense, hope, defeat...everything. All the feels. :-) Highly recommended.

Charles Dean Does It Again

I am a huge fan of Charles Dean. Every book of his has been literary gold, and this story is no different. I am counting the minutes until the next one is out. Intriguing story, loveable characters, and twists and turns that leave a reader/listener on the edge of their seat, make this a must read. The narrator does amazing work and really brings the characters to life in your mind. Well worth every penny!

Very Enjoyable

I really enjoyed listening to this book. It has a very different flow to it than most of the other books in this genre that I have listened to. The author is completely gifted in the art of detail and description, making it easy to really picture everything and feel more connected to the story. I loved really getting to know the characters, and because it moves at a slower pace you really have time to understand and find a way to relate to each one (which I love). I am usually pretty good at guessing what is going to happen next in these books, but the twists and turns this MC takes was pleasantly surprising! Definitely worth the listen and I can't wait to get the next book!

However, the people of Azurvale have yet to find out that their capital is already under threat.
