Revisado: 05-13-20
This was exactly what I needed right now! I heard Jennie Allen on Brene Brown’s podcast and knew as soon as I heard the title to her book that Restless was exactly the term that fit how I have felt for years. So many times while listening to this book, I had one of those moments when everything seemed to click together and just make sense!
Thank you God for Jennie Allen and Brene Brown, just two amazing woman that are lighting my way as I find my voice again!

I have listened to this book 3 times and have a hard copy with many highlights! This book should be required reading for anyone working in the mental health field. Having a husband that has suffered developmental trauma and displays borderline characteristics, this book also hit home. I’m in full support of developmental trauma is the DSM!

Let's face it: We all know people who are irrational. No matter how hard you try to reason with them, it never works. So what's the solution? How do you talk to someone who's out of control? What can you do with a boss who bullies, a spouse who yells, or a friend who frequently bursts into tears? In his book Just Listen, Mark Goulston shared his best-selling formula for getting through to the resistant people in your life. Now he brings his communication magic to the most difficult group of all - the downright irrational.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!
Revisado: 05-03-19
I have recommended this book to everyone! We all have impossible people in our lives and can benefit from learning how to deal with these individuals. At the same time considering we each have our own level of crazy, individual triggers from past experiences. This book is amazing! I’m playing it again because there is so much I can learn from the author. I am studying to be a psychiatric nurse practitioner and I’m married to a man whose experienced major developmental traumas and displays Borderline PD characteristics. I just wish I could have even half of the knowledge and experience this author has!! This book should be required reading for any mental health practitioner!
