Loved this book!
Revisado: 02-21-20
What a great discovery! Alex Wyndham brings this wonderfully touching story to life. I feel as if I was in the same room as characters. They felt so real to me. I was rooting for the hero and heroine all the way!

Historia
On a wet afternoon in September 1938, Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain stepped off an airplane and announced that his visit to Hitler had averted the greatest crisis in recent memory. It was, he later assured the crowd in Downing Street, "peace for our time." Less than a year later, Germany invaded Poland and the Second World War began. Appeasement is a groundbreaking history of the disastrous years of indecision, failed diplomacy, and parliamentary infighting that enabled Hitler's domination of Europe.

Fascinating and mind boggling....
Revisado: 07-03-19
Can't agree with those who did not like the narrator. He spoke clearly, precisely and not so fast you lost what he was saying. Better than many monotone, or worse, nasal or or High pitched readings of some audio books I have tried to listen to. But as someone said, I guess it is a matter of taste.

Historia
Wyatt in Wichita fuses historical fact with fiction, following the adventures of the young Wyatt Earp. Following the tragic loss of his first wife in the Missouri of 1870 in his early days on the dark side of the West, Wyatt eventually makes his way to Ellsworth and Wichita, where by confronting corruption he would eventually finally find his life’s work as a tough lawman.Could Wyatt Earp have known Billy the Kid when the kid was really just that? Could Wyatt have met up with Wild Bill Hickok in Deadwood?
