Historia
A millennium into the future two advancements have altered the course of human history: the colonization of the galaxy and the creation of the positronic brain. Isaac Asimov's Robot novels chronicle the unlikely partnership between a New York City detective and a humanoid robot who must learn to work together. Like most people left behind on an over-populated Earth, New York City police detective Elijah Baley had little love for either the arrogant Spacers or their robotic companions.

Great book, great narrator, get it somewhere else, audible is only interested in forcing you to listen to random books

Great stories, ruined by advertising inserted at the end
Revisado: 01-04-25
Stop adding advertising in audiobooks and automatically playing advertisements after them. This book is fine, it’s just a collection of short stories. You might consider getting it on a different service though.

Love Tim, this is a misleading book though
Revisado: 04-22-24
I love Tim, I actually agree with everything he has to say in this book. However this is, ironically, just a diatribe against the fair left. Yes he puts a useful framework on it and yes it’s generally accurate and amusing but I expected a much broader scope. Get this book if you know what you’re getting, otherwise go check out his website and skip this one. I’m sure he’ll do better next time.

Historia
Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game is a science fiction classic. In Ender’s World almost two dozen writers offer new perspectives on the 1985 novel, along with insights gleaned from other Ender stories that fit within the Ender’s Game chronology. In addition, military strategists Colonel Tom Ruby and Captain John Schmitt offer insight into the human-Formic war.

Historia
It's been a year since Eragon departed Alagaësia in search of the perfect home to train a new generation of Dragon Riders. Now, he is struggling with an endless sea of tasks: constructing a vast dragonhold, wrangling with suppliers, guarding dragon eggs, and dealing with belligerent Urgals and haughty elves. Then a vision from the Eldunarí, unexpected visitors, and an exciting Urgal legend offer a much-needed distraction and a new perspective. This volume features three original stories set in Alagaësia, interspersed with scenes from Eragon's own unfolding adventure.

Collection of disjointed short stories
Revisado: 01-16-19
While it is possible these stories will weave into a cohesive narrative in future volumes as a separate book they are disappointing.I'd recommend waiting.

Historia
Many of the novella's core themes, such as the struggle between individualism and collectivism, are echoed in Rand's later books, such as The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged. However, the style of "Anthem" is unique among Rand's work, more narrative-centered and economical, lacking the intense didactic expressions of philosophical abstraction that occur in later works.

As a fairly vocal objectivist I occasionally get asked how to learn more, I always recommend Anthem as a great starting point. This book is short and powerful with a compelling plot line for most readers to grab onto. Enjoy!

Historia
If the past is prologue, then George R. R. Martin's masterwork - the most inventive and entertaining fantasy saga of our time - warrants one hell of an introduction. At long last, it has arrived with The World of Ice & Fire. This volume is a comprehensive history of the Seven Kingdoms, providing vividly constructed accounts of the epic battles, bitter rivalries, and daring rebellions that lead to the events of A Song of Ice and Fire and HBO's Game of Thrones.

Do not consider this part of the series
Revisado: 11-08-14
Would you try another book from the authors and/or Roy Dotrice and Nicholas Guy Smith ?
I highly recommend the game of thrones series. The narrator(s) did not cause any issues. This book however is nothing like the rest of the series.

A few chapters are worthwhile

What did you like best about Unstuff Your Life? What did you like least?
I can't imagine any working professional or anyone born after 1980 getting any benefits from the technology oriented chapters. Skip those however and 'one home for everything' and 'like with like' are useful, if not age old, principles.
