Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Historia
There was no shortage of words she could use to describe her father, and almost none of them complimentary. A voicemail from her estranged sister, Melanie, sends Robin’s heart racing and her mind spiraling in a full-blown panic attack. Melanie’s message is dire: Their father, his second wife, and his 12-year-old stepdaughter have been shot - likely in a home invasion - and lie in the hospital in critical condition.

The sorry was riveting and the twists were excellent. A couple of grammatical errors (I vs me and such) which is annoying considering there are editors involved. Will def read more of her books.

Fantastic book well written and thought out. My only issue is why the author had to make the protagonist so stupid at the end.

Near an isolated mansion lies a beautiful garden. In this garden grow luscious flowers, shady trees...and a collection of precious “butterflies” - young women who have been kidnapped and intricately tattooed to resemble their namesakes. Overseeing it all is the Gardener, a brutal, twisted man obsessed with capturing and preserving his lovely specimens.

Once again an ending that leaves us a bit confused
Revisado: 11-04-23
This story was captivating and well thought out. Horrifying but not graphic in description. However, a couple things were unexplained which went agains the otherwise excellent detail. The ending was trite and unbelievable which ran contrary to the writer's usual explanations to circumstances.

Good story that wasn’t easily deciphered. Narrator was good except for her Polish accent; it was definitely Russian but it didn’t change the story. I’d recommend

Not up to par .
Revisado: 05-21-23
Slow…but a decent premise. The usual bad decisions by a protagonist but the biggest issues are the lack of editing and the narrator.
The car is a Volvo. We get it. For the first 8 chapters they never, ever referred to it as “the car,” “a car,” “it,” the vehicle,” or any other noun. Every few words led to “the Volvo.” It got annoying.
Then to describe a shattered windshield as a hematoma or ridiculous. That’s not what a hematoma looks like. Go with the usual “spider web” and be done with it.
Next up is the misuse of the pronoun “I.” Repeatedly, the phrase “between Laura and I” was used or something similar. Someone needs to reach this author AND editor that the word “me” is perfectly legitimate. I do have to give credit to the fact that the author did manage to use “lie” and “lay” correctly as well as “further” and “farther. “
Now for the narrator. The word “recognize” was pronounced “reconnized” more than once. Not to be outdone, the word “peripheral” was pronounced “periphreal” also more than once.

Amy is a little ridiculous
Revisado: 05-11-23
The premise of the story is excellent. The problem I had with it is that someone who is a third-year medical student which makes her 24- 25 years old and allegedly smart, seemed to do such stupid things during her medical school time. The high school stuff is different. Everyone’s immature. She made some bad decisions. Fine. But thinking there might be scissors at a nursing station in a psych ward that’s locked down? Ridiculously stupid.. Not listening to her gut when she was trying to escape the psych ward and just satisfied her curiosity?. Ridiculously stupid. Knowing that she hallucinated that little girl, but didn’t take pictures of other things that she’s certain she saw? Stupid; she did have a phone with her and it would take a picture even without a signal. Ridiculously stupid. So, again, could’ve been a really, really really good story had too many details that were,, frankly, (again) ridiculous . The narrator was good except for the way she said iced tea. We like diction from our narrators but that was over the top.
