Historia
In 1842, following the doctor's orders for a change of climate, William Thomas Hamilton found himself accompanying a party of trappers on a yearlong expedition. Heading into the wild, Hamilton would prove himself to be a fast learner, as adept with a firearm as with sign language: this early experience would be the making of him. As the 19th century progressed, along with many other trappers, Hamilton found himself drawn into the Indian Wars brought about by territorial expansion.

In this moving account, Peter Korn explores the nature and rewards of creative practice. zen and the art of...Peter Korn?
Revisado: 03-29-22
I suppose I wanted something else or something different than what was presented. I was not interested in the metaphysical driftings of the author's rants. I suppose it was my fault for not researching the full book before jumping In. However, I stayed through the whole thing as it was a great story. And the story is why I stayed...to learn more about Peter and his life. where he came from and how he got to where he is now.

With his trademark mirth and boundless charisma, actor Nick Offerman brought the loveable shenanigans of Twain's adolescent hero to life in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Now, in yet another virtuosic performance, the actor proves that despite being separated by a span of over a century, his connection to the author and his work is undeniable and that theirs is a timeless collaboration that should not be missed.

great as a boy. even better now
Revisado: 03-28-22
I like Nick Offerman. he is not my favorite actor or author, but I do enjoy his topics of life and books that he has written. when he reads his own books I'm not wowed buy them. however this is his best work yet. you could not ask for a better person, voice, or personality to have this book read to you.

Historia
A literary icon sometimes seen as a bridge between the Beat Generation and the hippies, Ken Kesey scored an unexpected hit with his first novel, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. His successful follow-up, Sometimes a Great Notion, was also transformed into a major motion picture, directed by and starring Paul Newman. Here, Oregon’s Stamper family does what it can to survive a bitter strike dividing their tiny logging community. And as tensions rise, delicate family bonds begin to fray and unravel.

exceptional reader!
Revisado: 07-26-21
The book was read in an amazing show of emotion and individual attention to all the characters. truthfully as well read as the Harry Potter readings. however I was told this is one of the all-time best American classics for the 20th century, but I came away with a different thought of it. maybe I will let it sink in on me for some time.
