Historia
When quiet Orrin and his extroverted best friend, Daniel, were transported to a strange RPG-based world, not much changed between them. Daniel became a hero of legend, while Orrin remained his unobtrusive shadow. Only when they faced a particularly lethal foe did Orrin step out of his comfort zone and display his true worth—with powers he didn't know he had. Of course, Daniel got all the glory, but Orrin doesn't mind. He's just happy they're both still alive.

characters
Revisado: 08-21-24
I feel like the main characters are more believeable . too many isekai have the MC knowing more than everyone else about everything. both daniel and Oren say and do dumb things because of assumptions based on earth knowledge. which don't always turn out to be correct, it's a breath of fresh air in this genre.

"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

This book is engrossing
Revisado: 10-08-19
I got this book on a whim. I wasn't sure if it was going to be any good but it is amazing. It literally took up all my attention, this volume was like a break from reality from me. A twist on the lit-rpg genre, the people who were transferred to a brand new world didn't just shrug it off and become super powerful. They were emotional and their sensibilities were like normal people. each character in this story is rich and engrossing. this was definitely worth the credit to get this.

Historia
Fel'annár is a gifted immortal warrior embarking on his first patrol into the Deep Forest. Half-Silvan, half-Alpine, he battles the enemy from without, and the prejudice from within. But he learns more than just warfare when an arcane power begins to emerge, one he cannot control. While friendships are forged, a destiny unfolds, one that is tied to a past he knows nothing about. For others, though, it is only a matter of time before the truth is revealed, and the danger becomes real.

a random pickup that was better than expected
Revisado: 07-30-19
I picked up this book in between waiting for my favorite authors to do their thing and I was not dissapointed. This has great character development, action and world building. I have since bought the entire collection that's out thus far and am only becoming more engrossed with the story. This is a credit well worth spending in my opinion.

good writer and narration but...
Revisado: 05-20-19
writer needs to get his head out of the gutter... why would someone running for their life suddenly stop to think about having sex with an npc??? it's off color and clearly written to play to a certain crowd. his whole nightmare quest seemed to be on easy mode and it was more about him building a harem.... :/ its still an ok book definitely not the best in the series.

Historia
On the march, around the campfire, and in the taverns, they tell incredible stories about Tarmun Vykers, the Reaper - how he's never been cut in battle, how he once defeated hundreds of men by himself, how he exterminated an entire people over an insult. These stories make Vykers seem like a god, but he is a man, an arrogant, ruthless, and bloodthirsty man. For all that, he may be the only thing standing between the human race and utter annihilation at the hands of the mad wizard who calls himself the End-of-All-Things.

Revisado: 04-21-19
soundbooth theaters did an amazing job with narration as usual. the characters were well defined and you got to know and care about them as the story progressed. I honestly got this because of the narrators but am glad I did. it's a solid book and I listened to it almost non-stop even at work. that's right this book is good enough to be reprimanded over lol. definitely worth the credit
