Historia
Fight is the backstage story of bloodsport politics in its rawest form—the clawing, backstabbing, and rabble-rousing that drove Donald Trump into the White House and Democrats into the wilderness. At every turn, the combatants went for the jugular, whether they were facing down rivals in the other party or their own.

Not what I expected
Revisado: 04-06-25
Yes, Biden was feeble and seemed to have dementia but I don’t believe nobody knew it all along.
This book implies the debate made everybody realize he wasn’t up to running again. I think they already knew it.
I still want to know who was running the country, making decisions and signing important documents.
Reads like fiction describing what people were thinking and what they were eating when alone.
Also white washes Harris making her seem like a heroine. Totally democrat biased

Historia
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

This memoir was wonderful in so many ways.
It hit home in my life and and made the author very real . I felt like I knew him.
He’ll make a fantastic Vice President and I’m looking forward to voting for him for President next.
Keep going J.D.!

Historia
Iris Collins is the messy one in her family—the chaos bunny. Her sisters are all wildly successful while she can't balance her budget for a single month. It's no wonder she's in debt to her roommates. When she unexpectedly inherits a house from her great aunt, her plan to turn it into a B&B fails—as most of her plans do. She winds up renting rooms like a Victorian spinster, collecting other lost souls...and not all of them are human.

Not a fan of using “them” and “their” to refer to one person. It was annoying and confusing. I kept thinking the author was referring to a couple.

Historia
In the spring of 1903, locomotive 311, known as the Majestic, carried more than one hundred passengers toward a tunnel through the underbelly of the Canadian Rockies. But then the mouth of the tunnel swallowed the 311 whole, and the train—and everyone on it—was never seen again. Seven years later, a gang of cattle thieves and cutthroats wait on horseback for a train car full of railway cash—a payroll they intend to steal. What they will discover, however, is that the approaching train isn’t the 5409. It’s the missing 311, a train only whispered about around dying campfires.

Historia
A summer cruise should be just the ticket for a few weeks of luxury and relaxation—but for the passengers and crew of the Empress of the Ocean, the sights of the Mediterranean are nothing compared to the excitement on board. But as unlikely friendships are forged, feuds bubble in the laundry room, and everyone jostles for a seat at the captain's table, they might find all their plans going overboard.

Ok story, terrible narration
Revisado: 08-05-22
The narrator didn’t match the character. She sounded like Minnie Mouse on helium and it was extremely distracting.
Also, under a very serious and dangerous setting, the main characters were pouty and jealous and full of teen angst.

I don't know what the humans are so cranky about. Their enclosures are large, they ingest over 1,000 calories per day, and they're allowed to mate. Plus, they have me: an Autonomous Servile Unit, housed in a mobile/bipedal chassis. I do my job well: keep the humans healthy and happy.
